Chapter 21

Kane opens his eyes finding himself in his bedroom. He can't remember how did he end up in his bedroom.

The door opens and he saw that it's War.

"I'll be living here for now, since I saw how stressful you are last night." War put the tray on the bed and gives the honey water to Kane.

"It's good for your hang over. It some porridge." War said. Before War left the room "There was a girl who have no name here. I named her for you."

"Wait. What name?" But War seems didn't hear him since he already left.

Kane finish up his porridge and bring the dishes downstairs to be cleaned.

The orphan girl approach Kane "Sir, the Kind Uncle gave me a very beautiful name." The kid is so happy.

Kane lower himself so he could be in the level of the girl.
"What is it? the name that is given by the kind uncle?"

The girl smiles brightly, "Amethyst Volkov." Kane find it familiar but didn't know why

"Do you like it?"

"I love it, Sir." The girl hops a bit while  she smiles.

Kane just smiles and brush the girl's hair. "Why don't you call me father or daddy too like Sky?"

Amethyst thinks as she pouts she looks cute while thinking. "I prefer the father." Kane chuckles "sure, as you like now go to Nite and play with him."

Amethyst nods and runs to wherever Nite is. "Careful Amy."

He didn't expect that it will War who will be there for him at his down state. He can't blame Rhys. He cut off any communication that Rhys can able to reach him.

"I just talked with the kids. They said they'll be fine."

"What?" Kane exclaim.

"Relax, it was a heart to heart talk you know. Your son will soon stops blaming himself just assure him."

"I didn't know you can handle kids." Kane chuckles

"I have a little brother. Go change and we'll go out." Kane go back to his room as War told him to change his clothes.

War acts like he is counting.

5...4....3.....2.....

"WARREN XI!!!!" Kane rush to war who look so innocent.

"Where. is. my. other. clothes?!" Kane ask War in almost shouting manner.

"oh. I told the maid that you'd like to donate them for charity." War said smiling and looks at Kane head to toe "you're already dressed. Good. Let's go."

"Wait. My clothes.." Kane whines at War while being drag by War to his car

"We're replacing them, now wear this once we get out of the car." War lend the facemask to Kane.

Kane looks at War puzzled

"I don't want to be a rumored boyfriend of your triplet brother." Kane rolls his eyes. War starts the car and drives their way to the mall.

Not that long, they arrived and entered the mall.

War brought Kane into his favourite shop. He help Kane choose some clothes for him.

"Why are we doing these?" Kane ask War.

"New look means New You. for now, let's transform your wardrobe." War said as he push some clothes on Kane and push him in the fitting room.

"Isn't this too dark?" Kane commented.

"Nah, it's just fine plus you already have the white shirts as your uniform." War said boredly.

War stands up and turns to the sales lady. "We'll get them all along with the shoes. Deliver them into this address." And he gave a paper with a card to the sales lady.

Kane's eyes widened when he recognize the card and he tried to look his wallet but all he see is his phone.

"That's my card, how come it's in your possession." Kane got annoyed.

"Chill, would you? We're using it to buy your stuffs." War taps Kane's head lightly.

Kane just huffs and glares at War.

"That won't scare me. I'm used to that." War chuckles and he suddenly Kane's phone.

I'll be replacing that too. War thoughts to himself as a reminder.

"Now let's go with the boys plays paint ball." War drags Kane along with him.

"I don't want to. So dirty. I'll watch you guys. " Kane argue.

"Nah ah. Not gonna happen. You have to steam off."War said as he push Kane in his car.

During the paint ball fight with the engineering students.

"War, is this some kind of revenge?" Kane whines "I surrender " but instead of getting off the hook. He got hit by War. Kane whines in pain.

"Never give up so easily just because you feeling tired. Remember only give up when it's proven that its pointless." Kane left out of words. He can't believe that War have this kind of side of him. But of course he didn't let himself get defeated by War and he kick it.

War laughs "There. That's the Kane, I know." And War hugs him while they're still hiding from the engineering students.

The paintball is actually one of the get together of the engineering students and War never attends them. That's why, they were all surprised when War accepts the invitation what even shock them he brought his known rival Kane. They take Kane as War's Rival since everytime these two meets they always bicker and fights. But now they witness War laughing while Kane is frowning and still hits or kicks War just like before. War even asked them keep Kane's whereabouts hidden and confidential.

This new friendship that they're witnessing is not bad at all.

"Scared guys?! Why there's no one is shooting at us?!" All of them are startled with War shouted. It seems that War notice that they're all hesitating to shoot them. "This is just game, you brats."

All of them are all relief and never thinks that who are with them the devil and the wizard of their university. They enjoy the game and play more rounds.

War and Kane got home tired and sore all over their body.

"Daddy!!! Appa!" Sky welcome them with open arms running to them.

Kane squinted his eyes and look at War. "Appa?"

"Hey, I'm not stealing your son." Kane just carry Sky and bring it to his room.

Sky tell Kane how nice and warm War  is to them. like, Nite even accept bunny stuff toy from War though he really hesitate at first. Then he even tell how their homeschooling going. Nite got the clean and highest marks as usual. Sky and Crimson got good marks.

Kane remind Sky to study more and Crimson too. And Never feel envy about whenever one of his brothers get something more good than him or get something and he doesn't because it' s bad.

Kane sneak a peek to know where War is. He saw that he is carrying Amethyst while following Nite to his room. Nite still wear his frown while carrying bunny doll. Which is probably the War gave him.

Maybe letting War help will also be good. Kane thought so.
