36 - date

Katsuki's POV
Earlier that night
"Okay, I've tried to be cool about it because you said to trust you- but what the hell, man? We're literally housing Shadow."

I exhaled, "I know."

"The number two villain."

"I know."

"Did you even consider the amount of trouble we'd get in if anyone found out?"

"I know."

"And... what the hell...? All the times she's asked me about work and investigations it was just- she was just trying to get intel from me?"

I huffed, folding my arms as he continued.

"And what if this is all apart of their plan? What if she was trying to get in on what we've been-"

I snapped, "look, obviously I know it's fucking risky, but I've got an idea to use this situation to our advantage; dealing with Shadow and Virus at the same time. I'm not a fucking moron."

The next morning, Kirishima came with me to Lightning and his girl's house with Shadow whilst she got her makeup and hair done because she insisted that she couldn't carry the gifts herself; Kirishima said he'd help out and volunteered me, too.

I stood leaning against the wall as Kirishima walked around talking to some people I'd never seen before.

Are they villains, too?

"Have you heard anything from Levi?"

I glanced over at Shadow, who was rushing around the room, asking everybody about the whereabouts of her first-aid kit.

"No, sorry Y/N... You tried calling him?"

She groaned, "obviously. Can one of you call Hirou and ask him if he's seen Levi? I need to deal with Sayu' hair situation."

She rushed back into the room where she was getting her makeup and hair done, occasionally popping her head out to ask about him again.

"Why the fuck are we still here?"

"Sorry, man, I was just talking to Y/N's friends, I'll go ask if she needs anything else and then we can head out"

Shadow paced out of the room in a robe with her hair and makeup done, "have you heard anything?"

The guy shook his head, "Hirou said he's not heard back from Levi in weeks, he didn't go to the bachelor party last night either."

She rubbed her fingers on her temples and let out a long exhale, "are you fucking kidding me? Of all fucking days? I swear to God, when I see him-"

Kirishima rushed over and interrupted her, "hey, hey, what's up, Y/N? What's happened?"

"Nothing. Don't worry about it- just Levi being a flakey fucking shit." 

"Oh, isn't he your date?"

"Yeah, he's not coming. Asshole. Anyway, sorry, I didn't realise you guys were still here. You can leave whenever you want, thanks for the help."

"You sure? You seem pretty stressed."

She shook her head, "don't worry about it, there's nothing you can do."

Kirishima looked back at me and a wicked grin spread across his face as he turned back to Shadow, "why don't you just take Bakugo as your date?"

What?

"What?"

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind! Right, Bakugo?"

"Like hell I wouldn't mind! I'm not going to-"
