CHAPTER 3: Meeting "The Boys"

Lydia's POV

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!*

"ugh!" i moan as i roll over to hit the alarm button. I check my phone for messages. 1 unread message. From: Niall My Bestie!! <3. I check the message.

From Niall: Hey Lid!! I'm so excited to see you!! And you finally get to meet the guys!! See at you 4!! Have fun at school and volleyball practice! 

I laugh and then reply...

To Niall: Thanks Ni :) and I'm so excited to see them too! Have I ever told you I'm a HUUUUGE Directioner??? ;D

I got up and turn my radio to listen to music while i get ready. i went to my closet to pick out my clothes. i went with some jean shorts and a white, button up blouse. ( picture on the side) I decided to leave my hair natural today because Niall liked playing with my waves and curls. but i make sure to pack hair ties and a headband for volleyball practice. i put in my big circular stud earrings and a long gold necklace that Niall got me for Christmas last year. i went downstairs to eat breakfast. my mom had cooked me bacon and french toast. i ate, brushed my teeth, and finished my make up. then i grabbed my backpack and my volleyball bag which contained my shoes, socks, ankle braces, knee pads, spandex, practice jersey, and my water bottle. i put on my new silver sandals from Hollister and then say bye to my mom and then leave. i go to my car, throw my bags in and head to pick up my friend, Kayla, from her house

i get to Kayla's house and honk. she comes running out with her back pack partly on and her volleyball bag still unzipped. She got into the passenger seat and threw her stuff in the backseat.

"When are you gonna become better organized?" i said as i chuckled.

"My alarm didn't go off so i woke up at 7:30 instead of 6:45! then when i'm about to get dressed, i find gum in my hair, which I'm guessing is from my brother jumping on me last night with gum in his mouth after he ate 2 bowls of ice cream. so i had to take quick shower, and just as i'm about to put my new white jean shorts on, i find a hole in the butt of them!! I'm guessing from my dog, unless my brother was stupid enough to eat them!" she said. i just laughed as i starting driving to school. i was so glad i was an only child. and a cat person. 

When we got to school, I parked the car, and we walked in together. We went to our lockers, which were right next to each other consider her last name was Gilder and mine was Gallagher. We put our volleyball bags in and left to our first class, which was Language Arts.  When we got to the classroom, we both sat next to our 3 other best friends. Sandy Lively, who has shoulder length blonde hair. She’s very short. Cassandra Burch (Cassie for short), who has long straight, black hair. Then there’s Lanie Jacobson, she has medium length hair that curls inward. She’s also a ginger with bright orange hair. She’s the next tallest after me in our group of friends. And my friend Kayla that I mentioned earlier, she has dirty blonde hair, which has a tiny bit of waves at the tips. We all play basketball, softball, and volleyball together. Sandy, Lanie, and Kayla run track with me too. Cassie isn’t a big running person so she just cheers us on from the sidelines. She also helps our track coach, so technically she’s our manager.

All of them are directioners just like me. But they don’t know that Niall is my cousin, and that him and his band mates are going to be in my very house in less than 10 hours!! They were all coming to my house after school to do “homework”, meaning screaming and possibly fainting when they see 5 of the most famous guys in the world standing in my living room. It would be my first time meeting all of them in person. The closest I even got was Skyping them. I guess I was smiling when I was thinking about what the girls faces would look like when they meet the boys because Sandy was soon yelling me at.
