Chapter 36- little black box

AIDEN P.O.V

"aiden.." someone whispered shaking me lightly. I opened my eyes and closed them again feeling the sleep not letting me go. I was shaken again and they said my name once more. I rubbed my eyes and they fully opened after that.

"Babe we get to go home today." I saw Jeremy standing by my bed side smiling at me holding a baby. I was confused for a moment until I looked around and remembered I had given birth to my baby girl yesterday. I know your wondering how could I forget about that but I was in pain and I tired that most of things went by in a blur. I smiled and held my arms out for Jeremy to give me Jenna. he gave her to me and I looked at her face as she slept. her face was a little darker white than it was yesterday and her face was fuller. she had chubby cheeks like Jeremy and how I had them when I was a child.

Jenna started fidget and her face scrunched up as if she was going to cry. I pressed my lips against her cheek and my hand on her chest and calmed down. she moved her arm from under the blanket that was wrapped tightly around her and she grabbed my finger smiled and then continued sleeping like before.

"Jeremy she smiled at me!" I whisper yelled.

"Man I missed it!" He whisper yelled back. I laughed at him and the nurse came in.

"Okay so since you tried feeding her yesterday and she is doing really good and everything looks fine you are able to go home today ms.parks" she set down the clipboard she was looking at and came over to my bed side. she unhooked me from everything and took Jenna and weighed her again and took her vitals.

"How's your hand mr.mckinnon?" The girl slightly giggled. I have a confused look at Jeremy and he turned to me.

"You broke my hand yesterday."

"What oh my god I'm so sorry baby!"

"Haha it's okay my love." he leaned over and kissed my cheek. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

"Ugh I look like a mess!"

"A hot mess!" I heard Jeremy say through the door making me laugh. I did my business then opened the door and grabbed my clothes out of the diaper bag.

I went back into the bathroom and I showered then got dressed in my black lace push up bra and my red boxer shorts I towel dried my hair and then blow dried it with the mini hair dryer they had in the bathroom, then a black tank top and my grey sweater that had a thin hoodie and a floral of mice & men logo on it, with my white and black vertical striped skinny jeans with my all black vans. I brushed and straightened my hair and did my usual hair style. I pulled my hair in half and put one side on each of my shoulders and them grabbed my gown that they made me wear and put it in the bin and walked out.

"You look gorgeous." Jeremy gave me a kiss. he was holding a freshly changed Jenna and was trying to reswadle her in the blanket we brought. He had put her in a warm white Fleece onesie. it had bear ears on the hat part and hand covers on the end of the sleeves and the feet were covered also. I fixed the zipped and closed the button where the top on the zipper was.

"You don't need to swaddle her she's already in a fleece onesie I think she'll be good. I laughed a little.

"But it's a little cold out."

"Babe she'll be okay I promise." I kissed his cheek and took Jenna from him. he finished packing the bags as the doctor brought in the release forms. I laid Jenna on the freshly made bed and filled out the papers. After I was some I gave it to the nurse who was putting things away and me and Jeremy walked out. I put the warm purple blanket that had the initials A&J in a corner and draped it around Jenna as we walked out to the car. I placed Jenna in her black and green car seat and buckled her in placing the blanket over her. I sat back there with her shushing her back to sleep as she cried bloody murder.
