its been about a month since almost everyone and myself has known im pregnant. i told the rest of the guys and my brother i was pregnant about a week or so after telling jeremy. kevin wasnt really shocked since he basically already knew. rian didnt take it to well.. he was really pissed i got pregnant before i graduated but oh well it happened cant go back now. today is my first check up since ive been pregnant and im about 4 months now so i might be able to know the gender of the baby. charlie was taking me to the doctors since jeremy had to be at the studio today. i didnt tell him that i had an appointment because then he would drop what he needed to get done and im not having that.
i sat down on a chair filling out some paper work when they called my name. i finished up writing and charlie helped me up and we walked back. i handed the nurse the clipboard and she weighed me.
"dont look." i snapped at charlie. he rolled his eyes and turned around. i didnt look at the scale because i know i would cry if i saw. she wrote it down and i followed her to a room in the back. i laid down on the bed and she told me to lift up my shirt. i did as so and she put on this clear blue gel that was really warm. it felt nice enough to wear it was putting me to sleep. the nurse put the little remote thing against my belly kinda hard and it hurt but i didnt complain. she moved around and i started to hear a heart beat. my heart fluttered at the sound and she turned the screen so i could see.
there was my baby. you couldnt really see it but you know its there.
"do you want to know what the gender is?" The nurse asked looking at me and glancing between me and Charlie who was holding my hand. I nodded excitedly and she moved the thing down.
"Congratulations it's a girl." She smiled.
"Oh my god Charlie I'm Going to have a little girl!" I squealed.
"I can't believe I'm going to have a niece." he smiled brightly.
"Oh your her brother?" the nurse questioned.
"Oh no I'm her best friend but you know how best friends automatically become like the brother or sister in the family." the lady nodded. she handed me a towel to clean off my stomach and handed me a picture of the ultra sound. I couldn't stop stating at it.
"It looks like a blob." I said staring at it with a scrunched up face.
"Haha they usually do and it will be ugly when it's first born."
"Oh great." He just laughed at me.
"I'm hungry."
"Nice to meet you hungry." I pouted. he shook his head with a smile and we walked to the car.
when we got in the car i plugged my phone in and waited for the car to regonize it. i played panic! at the disco i write sins not tragedies. me and charlie sang along dramatically and he drove us to red robins. we got out of the car and the waitress sat us down at a booth. we looked over the menu and ended up ordering the same burger and fries.
i took sips of my cherry coke as me and charlie talked and waited for our food to come.
"So how had the baby started to kick?"
"Yeah she has. she started about 2 days ago?"
"And you haven't told anyone?!"
"No because I wasn't sure if I just had to fart.."
"Hahahaha your funny." I blushed.
"Is she kicking now?"
"A little."
"Can I feel?"
I nodded my head and he got out from the other side of the booth and I turned outward so he can stand in front of me. he laid his hand just under my belly button and pressed a little. I watched his facial expression as I felt the baby kicked. I knew he felt her when a smile appeared and his face lit up. seeing him get excited made me smile.
"Here you guys go." the waitress smiled at us as she set our food down. she filled our cups before leaving and then Charlie sat back down after she left.
"She is a strong kicker." he smiled.
"I know I might just put her in soccer." I laughed.
"So how did Jeremy take it when you told him?"
"Right I forgot to tell you. well he was shocked at first but he was really happy he kept saying we're going to be a family. I just I'm so happy he wants it and he loves the fact I'm with child but I just can't shake this feeling that he's going to change his mind..." I said swallowing a bite of food.
"Why do you say that?" Charlie asked as he put a fry in his mouth.
"It's just almost every night I keep having the same dream. it's not even a dream it's more like a nightmare."
"What's it about?"
"That Jeremy rejected me and the baby saying that he can't have a baby now etc."
"I'm sure Jeremy isn't like that."
"I don't know I mean I know him well but there is still a lot of stuff we both don't know about each other.."
"I know but if he ever does do that then you don't need him you have me and cassey."
"I don't want my baby not having their father around or end up finding out Jeremy left us because he couldn't have a baby. I mean my father left at the age I was able to understand it and look how much I hate my dad for that." Charlie nodded.
"It will all work out smiles just don't worry and stress about it." I nodded as I took one last bite from my food.
"I'm full."
"Dude you didn't even eat half of the burger."
"I know but I got full."
"Are you okay? You haven't been eating much."
"Yeah I'm fine. I just haven't been to hungry."
"But you were starving earlier."
"I know but I just can't eat that much I never have." I just sipped on my drink as I waited for Charlie to finish.
We paid for our food and left. Charlie dropped me off at Jeremy's and I went inside.
"Hey beautiful." Jeremy said kissing me.
"Hey handsome." I winked making Jeremy blush.
"Give me your hand." I demanded. Jeremy raised and eyebrow and slowly gave me his hand. I pulled it closer and laid it in the lower part of my belly.
Jeremy's face lit up and he kneeled down taking his hand away and pressing his face against my stomach.
"I love you baby McKinnon."
"Why is it going to be a McKinnon?"
"Because you are going to be one and so is this little one." he pecked my lips and I put my hands around his neck and he placed his hands on my hips pulling me closer.
"Are you so sure about that? I mean you haven't asked me or anything.." I smirked.
"Oh I'm very sure." he nodded bringing his face closer to mine as we started to kiss.
"So when do you want to have the baby shower?"
"Whenever."
"We could do it next week."
"Yeah that's good but the theme is pink." I said walking into the kitchen to grab a water.
"Why pink?" Jeremy jogged after me. I was texting Cassey about the baby and I FaceTimed neil.
"Because I said the theme is pink."
"Pink theme for what?" I heard Neil's voice from my phone.
"For my baby shower."
"Oh my god I can't believe it when did you find out?"
"Today." I smiled to neil.
"How do you know and I don't?" Jeremy whined.
"Because your dumb." I put my phone on the counter propped up by a can of sugar.
"Jeremy we're having a little girl." I bit my lip.
"A-a girl?" He stuttered. nodded
My head. he grabbed my face and planted an unexpected kiss.
"Ugh get a room you two!" I flipped Neil off without breaking the kiss.
