I've been trying to decide if Ace and all his friends are 'mafia' / 'gang' or not but I'm not really sure. This chapter has very subtle 'mafia' type mentions but idk what he is.

I've been sitting on the bed for the past few hours doing absolutely nothing. Ace, Dante and Kai have gone out, Ace wouldn't tell me anything but I know it was dangerous.

I've texted him a few times and he always answers, he actually makes sure I text him, he's always worried about me when I'm home and he's rhe out in the dangerous situations. But this time, he only answered my first text which was 3 hours ago.

I'm trying my best to think positively but it's hard that I have no one to talk to and Ace won't answer the messages he makes sure I write.

After another half an hour of me just sitting around, I hear the front door bang open. I have a feeling Ace isn't there but I still wait on the bed for a little making sure it was one of the 3 boys before I leave the room. Ace has made me very paranoid about people entering the house so I always wait for a familiar voice, or someone entering my room since my room is the first place any of them would go.

"ARIAAAAA" I hear two people yell. I quickly jump out of the bed and run downstairs. Once I make it to the bottom of the stairs and turn the corner, I see Kai and Dante standing in the living room facing away from me.

It looked like they were looking down on their phone, speedily typing something to someone. Kai's phone rings and he lifts his phone to his ear just nodding with the person on the other side, he mutters a ok and then puts down the phone.

I stomp my foot to get their attention and they turn around. I first don't even notice who they were as I see their bloody faces. I'm stood there shocked as they stare back at me. I see Dante's mouth slightly opening as if he wanted to say something but he hasn't said anything.

"Where's Ace," I ask before realizing I should also focus on them. "What happened to you" I ask and I see them look at each other, silently asking each other if they should me.

"Where is Ace?" I ask lowly and I see Dante sigh. "It's not that big of a deal but can you sit down" He asks and I narrow my eyes before my heart beats extremely fast, I sit down and they sit on either side of me.

Before they can start, I grab the kleenex box and dab the stream of blood going down Kais face. He smiles softly at me before grabbing my wrist and moves it down. I shove the kleenex in his face so he takes it and wipes his own face. I move to Dante and do the same. He lets me wipe it off. Once I finish I sigh and look forward waiting for them the start.

I know he's not dead because if he was they wouldn't be acting like this. I still have very scared but I know he's not dead.

"Go on," I say and Dante sighs again before beginning.

"I don't know how much Ace told you, but you at least know we were somewhere dangerous. Ace was obviously the leader of everything but he was also the target. We were doing really good before Ace got mad when someone mentioned something about... you and then everything went to shit. He's not dead, but he's in much worse condition then we are. If he broke anything, he won't go to the hospital." Dante rambled staring at the side of my face and I just look at the wall. Kai grabs my hand in comfort, I squeeze his hand back. Kai then starts talking.

"He just kept mumbling 'Aria, Aria' as he was going in and out or consciousness on the ground. We brought him to the private hospital but he wouldn't let anyone touch him. We came here to get you, I just talked on the phone with the doctor and he's saying Ace still won't let anyone touch him but he's doing ok."
