*Walking*

"Oh yeah, how'd you two meet?" Samantha asked me.

"Well, She said she met me in middle school but I don't remember any of it,"

"We met earlier when I barely got out of the house,"

"Did she approach you?"

"She did, and apologized, somehow,"

"That was it basically," I added.

"I see,"

...

"Oh yeah, about the relationship that happened between us...," Samantha said.

"What about it?" I asked

"I'd be better if no one were to know about it,"

"Sure," I replied.

"Thanks,"

"Huh? Hm,"

"What's wrong?" I asked

"You're not gonna ask why?"

"Why what?"

"Why I don't want anyone to know about it?"

"I'm good,"

"Really?"

"Yep, I mean I already imagined how it looked and I can't help but laugh about it,"

Samantha blushed

"What're you thinking about?" She asked.

I giggle.

"You, In all black, wearing black makeup,"

I laugh loudly

Samantha hits me

"That's not how I looked before!" She said.

I laughed harder than before.

"But just thinking about it,"

Tears start coming out as I kept laughing.

"I can't take it,"

I kept laughing

"S-shut up already," Samantha said.

"I-I'm trying,"

I laugh again

"Okay okay, I think I'm good,"

"You sure?" She said.

I giggled

"Yeah,"

...

*We arrive to our classroom*

"Oh good, the teacher isn't here yet,"

We immediately sit down before the teacher could arrive.

*The teacher arrives,*

"Okay class, good morning, it's the third day of class and I'm pretty sure that most of you have known each other already,"

High expectations...

Bleh

"Today, we'll do a group activity,"

A group activity, for math classes

Hm, I don't like this.

"Okay, the columns you guys are in now will be your groups,"

...

"Let's start!"

The activity is this, a problem is given for each group, there will be a representative each time and the rest will try to help out the representative.

There are 4 groups.

And we are also given time to discuss the problem within the group, who will answer in front, how we'd get the answer...

You get the idea.

We were the last column, somehow, and we got to see the other groups first, obviously.

"Wait, who's that guy?" I asked

"Oh, it's one of Brady's friends,"

"Oh right, I never really knew his name,"

"That's not Donnie, right?" I asked.

"Donnie's right here,"

She points at him.

"Hey," he said as he waved.

"Oh, hey, you're friend is smart," I awkwardly said.

"Yeah, he learned from the best," he said while smiling arrogantly.

"From Samantha?" I asked.

He was stunned.

"Isn't it obvious!" He said and smiled the same way.

"From... You?" I said.

"Was that a question?" He asked.

"I... Guess?"

He looks away disheartened

"Is he okay?" I asked Samantha

"He'll be fine, he's just not used to getting shut down like that,"

"Like what?"

"Nothing,"

The guy got the right answer and it was the second groups turn.

"Hm, is that, one of the loud mouths?"

"Did you really give them a group name?" Samantha asked.

"Doesn't it suit them?"

"Yeah, I think it does," someone says.

I look at him and smile.

"See, he gets it!" I said.

"Who is he, anyway?" I asked.

"I'm Dorothy," he said.

"Isn't that a girl's name?" I asked.

"I guess it is, I don't know why my parents settled naming me like this, but I'm stuck with it,"

"At least you're happy,"

"I sure am," he said and smiles.

"Good for him," I said to Samantha.

"Miss Siren, that's not the correct answer," the teacher said.

"Repeat it or your group won't have a score,"

"Y-yes ma'am," she said and went back in front.

"Hm, she's usually a lot louder than that," I said.

"You do know who our teacher is right?" Samantha said.

"Right," I said as I looked at our teacher.

"Is there a problem miss Pauline?" She asked.

"N-no ma'am," I said and smiled.

"Hmph,"

"Really scary," I said.

"It's best to just behave when our teacher is around,"

"Yup,"

"That goes for you too Pauline," Samantha said.

"Eh?"

"You've been talking a lot,"

"Teach doesn't even know!"

"What if she would hear us?"

"I won't be loud, don't worry!" I said as quietly as I could.

She smiles.

"I haven't felt this comfortable with anyone, I'm just so happy,"

I said and smiled.

"Right, Dorothy?" I said.

"O-of course!" He responded.
