Right after getting things ready, I have decided to walk to school.

Its still pretty early, so I'm sure I won't be late in any way.

"Oh look it's that kid again," someone said as I pass by.

" *Sigh*, gossipers,"

"Well let's just hope they talk about something good about me,"

"I hear she slept with his teachers," someone said.

I snapped at them.

"NO I DID NOT SLEEP WITH MY TEACHER!"

"but that's what I heard from your classmates,"

"MY CLASSMATES KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME!"

"AND YOU DON'T TOO,"

"WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN WASTING YOUR TIME TO TALK HERE WHEN YOU COULD DO YOUR CHORES BACK AT YOUR OWN HOUSES!"

they fall silent.

"What the hell people!" I say as I leave.

As I look back they start to talk again.

"OH, RIGHT, STAY HERE AND TALK, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHEN YOUR 1 YEAR OLD KID HASN'T HAD ANY BREAKFAST YET!"

they finally go away.

"My goodness, what a great way to start my day,"

"Hey Pauline," someone said.

I look around to see who called me.

I might snap if I answer immediately.

"Oh, Samantha,"

Good thing it's her.

"Yep, it's me, your pretty early,"

"I like being early, wait no, I like mornings,"

"You like mornings?"

"Yeah,"

"But this morning wasn't as nice as I expected it would be," I added.

"Why so?"

"Some classmate of ours spread a rumor that I slept with one of our teachers,"

"Who wouldn't be mad about something as false as that spread around!"

"Did you know about this?" I asked.

"No, it's my first time hearing about it,"

"What the hell, now because of that, I'm getting weird glances from the whole neighborhood,"

"Don't worry Pauline, as long as I'm here, you'll be fine.

"Thanks Samantha,"

We hugged each other.

"Wanna go someplace else?" Samantha asked.

"Well, it is pretty early,"

"Alright, let's go,"

We took a detour, Samantha clearly leading the way.

And we arrived here.

"Oh cool, an arcade,"

"I thought you might like this place,"

"Yeah it's cool, there's just too many, creepy looking guys here,"

"They're giving me scary looks," I added.

"Yeah, they are, but we just have to beat them!"

"W-wha-- beat them?"

"This is an arcade remember?"

"Oh, so the guys here are some kind of high score holders or something?"

"Exactly!"

"Of course, I have a high score of my own here,"

"Woah really?" I awed in excitement.

"Well here it is,"

"A dancing game?"

"Yeah, you wanna try it?"

"I'm not much of a dancer, and plus we still have classes right?"

"Oh right, maybe later then?"

"We can try," I said.

We left the place and resumed going to school.

"Btw, I forgot to ask,"

"What is it?" Samantha asked.

"How long have you been acquaintances with Brady,"

"Why, we were all classmates last year,"

"yeah you were, but, I think there's more to it to you two,"

"H-huh?"

"It's like, you've met a lot earlier in your lives,"

She didn't say anything.

"Hm, since you're all classmates last year, you want to tell me who was more likely to spread a rumor about someone?"

"The girl that approached you,"

"Approached me?"

"You know, when you were at the canteen and went to greet you,"

"Oh right, her, what's her name?"

"Janet I think,"

"You think?"

"It's not like we're all close there, we even had a fight that broke out last school year,"

"Never heard of it,"

"That's weird," she responded.

"What're you gonna do about Janet?" She asked.

"Nothing really, something will happen eventually,"

"That's real mature of you," Samantha said.

"Well if you know how my high school life has been going you'd understand right away," I said.

"Yeah,"

We finally arrive at school after the whole conversation.

"I feel like we took longer than I expected," I said jokingly.

"Well we did have a detour,"

"Well that too, and the fact that we had a pretty long conversation about a lot of stuff,"

"Well, why stop there? we still have time,"

"Sure, what do you want to talk about?"

More talking and more talking, this is starting to feel like such a lazy story,

I really need help.

"Welp it's time for classes again,"

"And Math being the first subject, I can't with this," I said.

"We can't do anything about it,"

"Yeah true,"

We got to our classroom before classes were to start.
