It's been a few weeks after that interesting day. Well, especially if you were talking in your sleep and an acquaintance questioned about it. But it wasn't so bad. Well, it was time for him to go, and I made my oath that I'll take care of Enderbrine while he's waiting for him to finally teleport out of there. So we were finally walking down the forest path, with him in chains of course, since the people do not trust him with their lives. But somehow I do, as his friend, the only one with a great relationship between him and myself. Priya did visit him a few times, and she liked being around him after he finally calmed down from his capture, but most of the time she was busy making sure Enderbrine was okay and wasn't trying to do anything to hurt himself with his chains. Too bad they can't be released at the same time. Then this would be a lot easier, knowing they would take care of each other. But he'll be on his own, so it might be difficult for him to leave.
We finally got to the releasing spot, which was just an arch that had flowers all over it and a sign that read, "goodbye," which, honestly, made me laugh in the inside. But I guess this is where it ends, at least for now. Herobrine finally stopped under the arch, ready to be released, but for some reason, when I started to free him, he put both of his bound hands on my shoulder, like I did every night to help him sleep, since he couldn't move his hands from each other, making a sharp, "no."
I looked up, "what's the matter? Is there anything wrong?" I know I kind of sounded like his dad or something, but this is hard on both of us. I mean, I was practically letting a new friend go, then, when the other one is okay, my other new friend will teleport away. It never occurred to me that I would really miss the same guy who had broken my wing and kidnapped both me and Priya for fun. But, hey, I guess I'm more of a forgiving person than I thought, and maybe the same with him.
He took something out of his pocket, "hold out your hand." I did what he said and a small whistle that was curved into a small wide U or C if I let it dangle from my fingertips and had an empty eye on one side of it and an enderman eye on the other side landed into my hand, "this is one of the only ways to call us when you need any help. Now I'm not talking about an opinion or anything like that, but its more emergency-like stuff. And thanks again for taking care of both of us."
I was confused for a while, "you mean both you and Enderbrine?" He laughed and I heard his thought, yes, that's what I meant. I laughed with him and put the whistle in my pocket. It took me a while to free the guy, because then we realized that they gave me the wrong key, but I picked the lock with Priya's pin she usually wore in her hair (she dropped it and I was going to give it back, but I kept forgetting), and he was free. He half-ran a few blocks and turned around. He waved a little, I waved back, and he walked into the darkness. And honestly, he did like a pro.

An entire walk to the village with a few trips later...

I finally made it home. At least to our temporary one, because we might not stay here for long. We might end up moving nearby or going a few biomes away. If it wasn't for the heavy chains I had to carry to the jailhouse, I wouldn't have tried to twist an ankle or something. In fact, I think I sprained an ankle, because the last one I felt my foot go sideways and fell on my face. Ever since that one, my ankle trobbed and I limped the rest of the way. And I could of sworn that Herobrine watched me go to the house, because I heard a familiar gasp behind one of the trees, which I just shouted, "I'm okay," and it was replaced with a little snickering, which is understandable. He must of made sure I got there safely, which I'm good with.
So anyway, I went into the jailhouse and I could of sworn that something changed, and it wasn't that Herobrine left, but more like the jailmen acted strange, like they didn't see me at all. And they didn't just let me past like they usually did. In fact, one of them tried to spit on my bad ankle, and I felt someone trip me with the very chains that I carried. I finally had enough.
