"Sharing all your secrets with each other since we were kids,"

"Okay, so I was thinking that I could give her a note in her locker and ask her to meet me after school on the bleachers and then once she meets me there, I can ask her to go to the movies with me!" Louis said in one breath.

His eyes twinkled when he talked about her. Something that didn't happen when he talked to me. He really loved her.

"That's brilliant Lou." "What movie will you watch?" I asked

"I got tickets for The Conjuring 3,"

"Oh I've been wanting to see that. You'll have to tell me how it is!"

It was hard listening to him talk about his plans with Sky. But all I want is for him to be happy.

"We should get going. It looks like it's going to rain soon," I recommended

"Or we could just stay in the rain and have a movie night at my house," he shrugged

"You want a repeat of last time, huh?"

"My sisters haven't stopped talking about you since last time. Especially Millie,"

"Well I'm quite flattered,"

I was kind of disappointed that Issie didn't talk about me as much. I had a thing for her a couple years back.

I stared into the brown haired boy's deep brown eyes as he gazed into mine. A droplet of rain hit me on the forehead, breaking eye contact. I laughed and smiled as another droplet landed on Louis's nose. The rain started falling harder and harder until it was pouring.

"C'mon" Lou said, grabbing my hand and dragging me with him

"You better not be kidnapping me, Partridge,"

"No comment, Wilson,"

He took me to the place where Issie and Millie found me lying in the road.

"You did not just take me to the place where I completely humiliated myself in front of your family-"

"Oh but I did,"

"You suck"

"You love me"

"Yes I do,"

"What?"

"Nothing"

He shrugged and laid down

"You joining or what?" he yelled over the loud sound of the rain smacking against the ground

I smiled widely and flattened myself against the pavement next to him.

I felt something brush against the side of my hand. I looked down to see Louis mindlessly brushing his pinky against my hand. His hand slowly cupped around mine and intertwined fingers with me. I looked up over him and found him gazing right back at me. We both grinned.

I took notice at how the corners of his eyes wrinkled when he smiled widely and how frequently he bit and licked his lips.

"Have you ever been in love?" He questioned

"Yes. I was in love with him my whole childhood and I still am. But I'm not good enough for him. Besides, he has his eyes on someone else."

"I think you're wrong."

"Excuse me?"

"You are good enough. You could get anyone you wanted. You've got a lovely personality. Not to mention you're one of the most beautiful creatures I've ever layed my eyes on,"
