(Title card found in the anime called Kiznaiver by Studio TRIGGER. Thought it'd fit here.)
✧✧✧✧After he had told his crimes and was forgiven, Boyfriend had been notified of a certain bitter ex of his spreading false and cruel info about the one he currently loves. He was enraged by the faulty video making rounds and many people sadly believing it, felt that confrontation was necessary.
He told his friends and his lover of what he was planning, and also how he needed a plan for his next one-on-one with a new opponent... Who just so happened to be incredibly dangerous if underestimated. They all proceeded to brainstorm his cards... By the way, here's a small hint to what might happen soon, but not now. The rules for a one-on-one never said that a subordinate could not be onstage preventing watchers from interrupting the fight.
Two headed for the subway station, one with messy blue hair and a determined expression; known as Boyfriend and the other with H/L, H/C hair and a worried mind; known as Y/N L/N. (Hair Length, Hair Color)
Y/N looked over at Boyfriend as they walked towards the subway station, worry glazing her eyes. After the recent happenings, she wouldn't be surprised if his confidence had been knocked down a peg or two, but she secretly hoped that he kept his hope high.
"Somethin' the matter?" Y/N jumped as Boyfriend interrupted her train of thought unintentionally. She had been so focused on his still yet strong frown that she hadn't even noticed his troubled gaze. "You look kinda sad... Are you worried about what might happen?"
Y/N would shake her head to his suggestion. "No," She began, looking down at her shoes. "It's just... I'm worried about you. A lot has happened recently and I just hope you're doing okay."
Boyfriend smiled at Y/N softly and nodded. The thought of her concern hurt slightly... but it also warmed his heart knowing that she cared for him. "I'm doing fine now that you're with me," He responded. "If it weren't for you, I don't think I'd be as confident as I am now."
She laughed softly in return. It was good to know he was at least doing well. "Really? Jeez, you're too sweet, Oto..."
"Bee-err-b-but really..."
"...?"
"You're one of the greatest people I've ever met and... J-jeez, I-I don't even how to describe how lucky I-I am to be able to d-date you, I just..."
Y/N interrupted him by embracing him in a loving hug, which surprised him, but also deeply comforted him.
"You're one of the greatest people I've met too, Oto, really," He looked at her with a cheerful, but oddly calm grin on his face. She must have really calmed him down. "So let's face this off together, alright?"
He nodded, his confident demeanor returning to him. "You betcha."
✧✧✧
The two soon arrived to the subway station, and they were immediately bombarded by packs of people running and walking about, waiting for their next train to come or boarding the current train. Y/N and Boyfriend's ride to the duel concert wasn't going to be in another half an hour or so, but they decided to come anyways to manage time and think about the plan more.
Boyfriend made sure to have a good grip on Y/N's hand as they struggled through the constantly moving masses of people within the subway station, and pulled her through into a somewhat secluded part.
