Chapter 3: You've Got to be Kidding Me

Godzilla's POV

I saw Anguirus returning from the water. "Hey buddy. Where have you been?" I asked. "Godzilla..., a Ghidorah... has come... from space." he said, catching his breath. "What?" I asked. How is there another Ghidorah? "He claims we've foiled his plans back when, and he's not caught up with the times." Anguirus explained. "Well, I guess we could use that to our advantage, but that would be difficult." I said, "We need to tell everyone." Anguirus was shocked. "No way man. If we do, it'll start a panic." he said. "Either way, they'll find out. And if we don't say anything now, them my position of power will be in question. What king of king would I be, if I didn't tell my subjects, or my mate, or my children?" I said, "The sooner we strike, the less time we'll spend dealing with this Ghidorah." Anguirus nodded.

Later...

After everyone was warned, they were cautious. Guards guarded the perimeter, and I told my kids if they went outside, to not venture far without me or Mothra. Rodan was kinda unhappy with the new precautions, but I need to do something.

Rodan's POV

This is stupid. I have to stand guard for 7 hours a week just because of a new Ghidorah. We should be fighting him. Not standing guard. Whenever I bring that up with Godzilla, he claims that since barely any of the kaiju on Monster Island kept their skills sharpened, it'd be a suicide mission. On one of my patrols, and noticed suspicious activities. 2 planes salvaged the remains of King Ghidorah, and began air lifting it. We threw them in the ocean, and somehow they found it. I began flying off. "What are they up to." I said to myself. As we neared closer to Japan, I saw a dome about 18 miles from Tokyo.

Eventually...

I saw through a window that the remains were melted down. Ghidorah's remaining flesh was used as framework. I think they're making an upgraded more mechanical version of Mecha King ghidorah! I quickly returned to Monster Island to warn Godzilla.

Later...

"Rodan, I gave specific instructions to not leave the island unless necessary. What was so necessary about why you left?" Godzilla asked. "I know I disobeyed orders, but I saw planes salvaging the remains of King Ghidorah. I followed them, and saw them building a newer version." I explained, "It looked terrifying." Godzilla thought for a moment. "Rodan, I forgive you for leaving the island. And thanks for the information. Let everyone know. First a new Ghidorah, now this. What's next? A new Mechagodzilla?" Godzilla said. I left Godzilla's home to warn the others. Humanity will have crossed the line if they start building a new Mechagodzilla.
