Your wait is over. The sequel to the original has arrived. You may have thought that the original was over, but you're mistaken. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as the original, plus I'll have an easier time since GvK came out.
We were ready to leave Monster Island. Rodan, White Rodan, Mothra, and Jet Jaguar took flight. The rest of us, took to the sea. When I looked back to make sure no one was left behind, I saw what looked to be Minilla. "Dad look! I'm a dolphin!!" Minilla exclaimed. I smirked. My son could revert to different forms. That should come useful.
Eventually...
Minilla was the first to make landfall in Tokyo. This time, he changed again.

I gasped. "My son is so powerful." I said. Then, the rest of us made landfall. We wondered for hours, until we saw Hyper Mecha-King Ghidorah, Grand King Ghidorah, and weird squid, another Ghidorah, and a flying fish with legs. "Time to settle this... once and for all." Grand King Ghidorah said. Minilla then let out a huge breath. Then, he set it aflame, which caused a shock wave. "Why does Minilla get all the cool abilities?" Godzilla jr asked. "Well, he was deformed when he hatched." I replied, "And having deformities makes you more special." I fired my atomic breath at what I thought was the new Ghidorah.
Later...
After the red smoke cleared, Minilla was in a cocoon. "Whoa." I exclaimed. Then, Rodan flew in, and began mercilessly pecking at the squid. Soon, White Rodan fired her breath weapon, and the squid split apart. "We're gonna need some spider venom." I said. "Perhaps I could be of some assistance." Scylla said before spraying her venom at the squids. They proceeded to crystallize, and Rodan shattered them, and Grand Ghidorah spat his gravity beams. Rodan dodged them, and the new Ghidorah began breathing fire. Mothra flew behind him, and jabbed his neck with her appendages. Godzilla jr dispatched Hyper Mecha-King Ghidorah with his atomic breath before he could harm Mothra, and Hyper Mecha-Ghidorah fell. The new Ghidorah shook Mothra off, and began to burn her! I rushed in, but Grand Ghidorah spat his anti gravity beams, and I fell.
Later...
Grand Ghidorah's team had the upper hand. Minilla was still in his cocoon. Mothra was dead... for now. Godzilla jr was in the sea healing. Manda was also in the sea, but just tired. Jet Jaguar and Anguirus were stuck in a crevice. Rodan and his girlfriend were nowhere to be seen. Grand Ghidorah walked up. "Look at yourselves. You're all a bunch of helpless titans. And look, your last hope is also dead. You were all fools to think you could stand against us." he said. Just then, Minilla's cocoon shattered.

He fired a smoke ring, and Grand King Ghidorah was knocked back. "Ah great. Now we have to deal with him now!" Hyper Mecha-Ghidorah said. "Ghidorah, that's my line! EVERYONE, WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH HIM NOW!!" Grand Ghidorah exclaimed. Then, Hyper Mecha-King Ghidorah self destructed. Thus killing the new Ghidorah. "Well crap." said Grand King Ghidorah. Minilla unleashed more smoke rings, and Grand King Ghidorah was down for the count. Then, He fired his gravity beams, and Minilla was knocked unconscious.
Rodan's POV
My girlfriend and I were hiding in a cave after she got hurt. "Rodan, we need to help them!" White Rodan begged. "You're hurt. You're in no shape to fight." I said. I looked towards the entrance. "White Rodan, I need to tell you something." I said. "What is it?" she asked. "The truth is, I'm scared. I don't know what to do." I admitted we heard battle sounds, and I heard Minilla screaming in pain. I could tell Godzilla was weeping. "I don't think I'll see the day when we start a family." I continued. "What are you saying?" she asked. "I'm saying that I must die in order for you to live." I replied. "Rodan, you don't need to! There's gotta be another way!" she exclaimed. "This may be our only chance. But, I know how you can keep me alive in a way." I said before winking. She caught on, and we began to breed.
Later...
As soon as it was done, I flew out. I saw Grand King Ghidorah charging up his gravity beams, and I flew down as fast as I could.
Minilla's POV
I looked up, and Rodan took the beams for me. I felt myself growing. Soon, I was back to my normal height. When Rodan died, I began charging up my heat ray. "Go son." I heard my dad say. Soon, I fired my atomic breath, and Grand King Ghidorah exploded. Dad and I destroyed any remaining pieces of Grand Ghidorah so he wouldn't regenerate.
