Sometime after I laid the egg, I saw a note. I took it, and read what it said.
White Rodan, if you're reading this, then I've sacrificed myself so you and our child could live. I'm sorry I couldn't help you raise the baby. The reason why I sacrificed myself, is because while meditating, I never saw past that moment after we bred. I really hoped there was another way. But, that moment never went on. I promise to watch over you and our child. And, I can't wait till the day we reunite. Love, Rodan.
Tears were streaming down my eyes. It's been 3 weeks after he died, and the letter was just a reminder that he's still here, but spiritually. I kept many memories of Rodan to prevent myself from forgetting him. I would raise our child, and I would make him proud to be his mate.
