Godzilla x Mothra: Trouble... is Only Beginning

Chapter 10: Return to Monster Island

Rodan's POV

As we neared closer to Monster Island, I felt that something was off. We landed on a nearby island about 12 miles away. "Rodan, isn't that Monster Island?" White Rodan asked. "Yes, but something feels wrong." I replied, "We'll need to proceed with caution." We began flying towards it, and as soon as we landed, we saw a huge wall. White Rodan destroyed it with her uranium heat beam, and we saw corpses. Worry set in. I saw Anguirus all gutted. Jet Jaguar was rusting, and missing his head and a leg. Manda washed ashore will a gaping hole in his chest. Then, we saw Godzilla, Mothra, Godzilla jr, and Minilla all murdered. Godzilla was beheaded and he was bleeding out. Mothra had a pike through her head, and I saw a shattered Mothra egg. Godzilla jr was holding Minilla in his arms. Minilla had lost his limbs, and his heart was torn out. Godzilla jr was missing all organs. As soon as White Rodan puked, I woke up! I began panting. "Rodan, are you okay?" White Rodan asked. "Yes. I just had a terrible dream." I replied. "What happened?" she asked. "When we arrived, we saw the bodies of the titans on Monster Island." I said, "It was gruesome." White Rodan had a look of worry. "Then we must head home asap. What if something is about to go wrong?" she said. I nodded, and we took off. We flew as fast as we could to save Monster Island from it's potential fate.

Later...

When we arrived, we landed on the nearest beach. "Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained." White Rodan said. "Fair point." I replied. I looked around. No titan in sight. Usually, there'd be Manda and Anguirus just sharpening their skills, but I saw nothing. My heart began to race. "Let's check Godzilla's home." I said. When we arrived, I knocked on the door. When the door opened, Godzilla jr was there. "Rodan? When did you return?" he asked. "Like, minutes ago." I said. "Dad organized a search party to find you. Where have you been?" he asked. "I went to get a drink." I replied. "For a whole week?!" Godzilla jr scolded. "A whole week? Have I really been gone that long?" I asked.

Later...

As I helped White Rodan get settled in my cave, I began getting worried. "Rodan? Is something wrong?" she asked. "Well, what if Godzilla doesn't return?" I asked, "Or what if he exiles me?" White Rodan gave me a small kiss. "He's a tough titan from what you've said. He will survive. And he'd only exile you, if he didn't care. He sent that search party, correct?" she said. "Yes." I replied. "Well, he wouldn't do that if he planned to exile you." White Rodan replied.

Eventually...

When Godzilla emerged from the sea as well as other titans, I expected him to slap me across the face. He came up to me. Then, he slapped me. I fell, and he reached his arm out for me to grab. "'Bout time you return home Rodan." he said. "I didn't even know I was gone for a week." I replied. "What's been distracting you?" he asked.

Later...

After I explained everything, he just sighed and walked home. When I returned to my cave, White Rodan was waiting. "So, how'd it go?" she asked. "Fine. I just explained to him why I was gone so long." I replied. "So, he now knows about us?" she asked. "Yes." I said.
