(R/N) had come back from guarding the area and was just able to get back 2 hours of sleep, when he was suddenly splashed with water, causing him to jolt awake and jump off his bed. Looking back he saw Ragdoll grinning, while Tiger was flashing a thumbs up to him.
Tiger: Rise and shine Young Kitten! Younglings like you need to-
He cut himself off as he saw the malicious look in (R/N)'s eyes, that even caused Ragdoll to stop grinning. He pointed downwards as both of them looked down and saw that they were standing on a puddle of water and the trail connected them to (R/N). At that moment, Ragdoll remembered that the water was from a nearby stream that was salted.
Tiger and Ragdoll: Oh n-
They didn't get to finish their sentence as (R/N) activated his quirk, causing electricity to travel through that trail and shocking them.
(R/N) laughed out like a maniac, only to be knocked down by a sucker punch from Tiger. Looking up he saw the face of Tiger and Ragdoll with wrath written on their expressions.
Ragdoll: Kittens who misbehave….
Tiger: are punished.
(R/N) just gulped and hoped that he survived this internship.

(R/N) sighed as he finished his 13th patrol of the camps. As his punishment, Tiger and Ragdoll had made him do their patrols, and on top of that his own patrols too. In total, he had to do 40 rounds of the campsite and the hiking area.
As it was midday, his hero costume's dark color was of no use but actually was putting him at a disadvantage. As dark colors absorb more heat than light colors. Wiping his sweat off from his forehead, his attention was driven to a play area by the sounds of the children playing.
Just as he was about to walk again, his gaze fell on someone similar, looking closely, his suspicions were confirmed as it was indeed Kota and other kids playing together.
(R/N) was at first surprised but it did bring a smile on his face seeing Kota trying to interact with others and having fun, but not anyone could see it as he had his mask on. At first, he didn't notice, but now he knew that Mandalay was walking behind him. He waited for her and as she came and stood beside him, she began to speak.
Mandalay: It's good to see him interact with other kids his age. He still avoids talking with us, but it's good to see him having fun.
(R/N): He still has a long way to go, but I'm sure that with the support of you all, he'll wade through the waves.
Mandalay just hummed after his response. (R/N) started to continue his patrol, only to be stopped by Mandalay.
Mandalay: (R/N)!
(R/N): Huh?
He turned around and saw Mandalay smiling at him.
Mandalay: Thanks for being Ichiru to Kota and all of us.
(R/N): That's my purpose. To be a ray of hope in people's life.
(R/N) just saluted and went back to his patrol, with a genuine smile on his face. Mandalay giggled and turned back to watching the kids play, with a single thought in her mind.
"Thank you (R/N). You really are going to be one of the best heroes of this world."
