You claimed your spot in my heart
By walking aimlessly into my life,
And since then, not a day goes by
Where you don't cross my mind.
We remain separated by an ocean,
Its depths unknown to most.
But, distance means nothing
When you mean everything.
Distance cannot and will not
Destroy these bindings;
We have been built on mutual
Respect, trust, and commitment.
Wherever you are,
Whatever you're doing,
Stop and smile,
Because I'm thinking of you.
