Casey:

You headed into the cafeteria for lunch. You walked over to your usual table where your best 12 friends were: Jake, James, Charlie, Barclay, Reece, Tom, Chris, Melanie, Hannah, Jane, Kayla and last but not least Casey. Casey was your absolute best friend and you two had met when you were babies. You got to meet all the others when you were all 7. When you were all about 15, you started developing some feelings for Casey. You were now all 18 and in your final year of school. You had obviously not said anything about liking Casey to anyone but it seemed that all your other best friends knew except for the man himself. He was too preoccupied with flirting and chatting up every single other girl in the school. You pretended to be totally cool with it when you were really dying inside.

"Hey Y/N!" everyone chanted out when you sat down at the table in between Hannah and Chris.

"Hey guys!" you chirped back.

"You will NEVER believe what happened in Science just now!" Charlie said.

"What?" you said in excitement. That's the great thing about sitting at this table: there was ALWAYS an entertaining story.

Charlie was in the middle of his Science story with James and Tom also helping to tell it when you noticed Casey walking into the cafeteria towards your table.

"Look who decided to join us!" Jake said, throwing his hands up.

"Sorry, I was busy talking to Rachel," he replied, winking at you as he sat between you and Chris.

"Wait, I thought you said you hated her?" you shot out immediately without thinking. Casey loved flirting with girls but he had always said the only women he would never go for were you, Melanie, Hannah, Jane, Kayla and especially Rachel, the one girl he could not stand at all.

"Well, times change, little bee," he replied, smirking. You decided that enough was enough.

"Sorry, just remembered I have to finish an English project in the library, see you guys," you said quietly, walking as fast as you could to your secret spot. It was just an unused classroom where they would hold detention. Otherwise, it was never used. You sat down by the one window, tears streaming down your face.

You sat there for about 5 minutes when you heard the door open. You looked up, frightened that you might see a teacher standing there. However, you saw Casey standing there, looking incredibly concerned.

"What's wrong?" he asked, sitting down next to you, wrapping his arm around you. You removed his arm and shuffled a little way away.

"Go away," you replied, sniffling.

"I'm your best friend in the whole world, I am definitely NOT going to go away and I know when you're lying Y/N, so tell me what's been up lately!" Casey said, looking a little bit angry.

"YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT'S WRONG?" you yelled, rage filling you up, "EVERY TIME YOU GO FLIRT WITH THOSE HORRIBLE FAKE BARBIE GIRLS, A LITTLE PIECE OF ME DIES! I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU FOR 3 YEARS AND YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED A THI-" His lips suddenly cut you off.

You melted into the kiss completely, your anger vanishing without a trace. Casey pulled back and said, "I've loved you since I was 13 but you never noticed so I decided that I might be able to get your attention by flirting with other girls. They mean nothing to me. When I said that I would never want to hook up with you or any of the other girls in our group, I didn't want to include you but I thought I might blow my cover if I didn't include you. I never even flirted with Rachel at all, I just wanted to make you jealous."

You remained silent for the next few minutes, completely shell-shocked.

"Please say something, I feel sort of embarrassed now," he whispered, looking away from you and turning a shade of red.
