He Proposes 1/8

Reece:

You were lying in bed, slowly getting up and opening your eyes. You looked over to where your boyfriend of 3 years, Reece, usually lay but he wasn't there. Instead, there was a small white piece of paper. It said:

"Morning my love! I made you breakfast (hope it's not too cold!). Once you've eaten, please put on the dress I got for you in your closet! Love Reece xxxx"

He's so sweet, you thought to yourself as you climbed out of bed. You went downstairs and saw a plate of pancakes with Nutella on top of the kitchen table. You sat down and gobbled them down very quickly. To your surprise, they were lukewarm. Once you had finished eating, you put your plate in the dishwasher and went upstairs to you and Reece's bedroom. You had a quick shower and then opened up your closet. The dress that Reece had bought for you stood out amongst everything else. It was a sky blue colour and it was strapless. Upon taking a closer look, you realised that there was another note stuck on to the dress. It said,

"Hey babe! I saw you eyeing this dress the last time we were at the mall so I cheekily decided to buy it for you. Head on over to the store where I got it, you will find your next note there! Love Reece xxxx"

Smiling to yourself, you placed the note on your bedside table and put the dress on. It looked so amazing on you and it matched your eyes (just go with it). After putting a pair of white pumps on, you grabbed your handbag and headed off to the mall.

*skip to mall*

You headed on over to Forever 21, where you had seen the dress you were wearing. At the entrance, you spotted Jake and Casey. When they saw you, they waved. 

"What is going on guys?" you asked them.

"Here's your next note Miss Y/N," they said, winking and walking away. Feeling slightly puzzled, you looked at the note and it said:

"Hi again babe! For your next note, you have to go to the place where we ate our first meal together, and NOT where we had our first date ;) Love Reece xxxx

PS, the first word is Will!"

Giggling slightly, you walked on over to the McDonald's where you and Reece had eaten your first meal together. It was when you were about 6 years old, since you two had known each other for that long. As soon as you got to the McDonald's, you saw James and Chris standing there, grinning at you.

"What the hell is happening?! I'm slightly confused!" you said to them.

"You'll see," Chris said, smirking at you.

"Here's your next note," James said, winking and walking away with Chris. Getting more confused by the minute, you looked at the note and it said:

"Hiya babe! Almost there! Head on over to our favourite childhood haunt! Love Reece xxxx

PS, the 2nd word is You!"

Chuckling to yourself, you got in your car and drove to the ice cream place where you and Reece basically lived for your whole childhood. You parked outside and walked in, noticing that Barclay, Charlie and Tom were sitting at a table. You headed over to them and they all said hello to you.

"For the love of Nutella, can someone PLEASE tell me what is going on??" you said exasperatedly.

"This is the last note, we promise," they said, their mouths full of ice cream. Tom handed you your last note. It said,

"This is the last note, I promise! You will find me at the place where we like to have our midnight strolls! Love Reece xxxx

PS, the 3rd word is Marry! I have the last word ;)"

Completely and utterly confused, you drove down to the park. You found a parking and headed over to the small forest, where you and Reece loved to walk around and have serious talks. Once you got there, you saw Reece standing there with a cardboard sign saying,

"Me?"

"Reece!" you shrieked, running over to him and hugging him tightly. 

"Hi princess," he mumbled, burying his head in your shoulder.

"What is going on?" you asked him, pulling away.

"Put the words together," he said simply, smiling. You got all the notes out and you gasped when you saw what all the "words" said. 

"Will you marry me?"

You looked at Reece and saw him on one knee, a small black box in his hand.

"Y/N, you are my whole world. I couldn't imagine a life without you because you are just so amazing. There will never be enough words to describe how beautiful, smart, funny and incredible you really are. So, will you marry me?" he asked, looking extremely nervous.

"YES!" you shouted, tears falling silently down your cheeks. Reece chuckled and slid the ring on to your finger. He then stood up and wiped away all your tears, kissing you softly.

"I love you Y/N," he whispered.

"I love you too Reece," you whispered back, beaming from ear to ear.
