The Story of Namikaze-Uzumaki Naruto ( HIATUS )

Chapter 9 - Telling everyone and a day in life

Naruto groaned. How the fuck did he got stuck in this situation he could not understand. Everywhere he went, snickers and comments followed. His arms were feeling heavy, as if they are going fall soon. "Hey you two done or what!" ,he asked. "Shut up nee-san and hold this" , a sweet voice replied as another bag was thrown in his direction that he barely caught. "Why me!" ,Naruto sighed as he cursed his bad luck.

He, a jonin of Konoha, and Gaara, Kazekage of Suna, were currently stuck holding mountains of shopping bags for their sisters, Sakura and Temari. It had been two days since they had both confessed. Naruto had never seen Sakura so happy in the past than she was now, spending time with her Panda-chan. They were idly talking once, when Gaara was the one who suggested his girlfriend to get a wardrobe change on his account, as she was bored of her clothes. Temari had overheard their conversation and had quickly pulled them as she knew Gaara's work could catch up to him soon if they delayed the work.

Naruto had been indulged in a pleasant training session and had taken a minor break. He was just taking a stroll to go to the weapon's shop to get his monthly order, when suddenly out of nowhere an overjoyed Sakura pounced on him, shreaking 'nee-san' in his ears. He did not know why he had agreed to their demands of helping them to shop, might be bacause he did not want to dampen Sakura's mood. Even though his body was tired and aching badly, his mind was occupied somewhere else, remembering the crazy reactions of the others when Sakura had told them about her and Gaara.

------------- FLASHBACK --------------

Temari, Kankuro, Naruto, Neji, TenTen were standing in front of Tsunade and Shizune in her office. Tsunade and Shizune were bickering about her daily stash of sake being late. Naruto and Neji were standing in a corner, discussing about the slavery seal of bird on his head. TenTen and Temari were discussing about their weapons, while Tenten showed her the sword Neji had gotten her. Kankuro was just standing off, tweaking his puppet.

"Tsunade-sama why have we been called here?" ,asked Temari once she finished her talks with TenTen. Tsunade sighed before replying,  " It was not me, but Gaara who requested all your presence." Temari raised an eyebrow and looked at Kankuro for an answer, who just shrugged. Before she could start again, a knock was heard on the door. Tsunade said, "Come in" and Gaara and Sakura entered the room, wearing the same outfit they wore yesterday night. "See gaki this is how you come in my office, not just shunshin out of nowhere" ,said Tsunade while Naruto just playfully showed his tongue in response.

"Umm, can we speak the important matters now" ,said Gaara in his monotonic voice, but with a smile. Gaara's siblings were somewhat in a bit of shock, on seeing Gaara smile. "Okay so now can you tell us?" ,asked Temari as the suspense was eating her out, while Sakura was figiting with her tshirt. "So I consider you all the closest to me so I decided it would be the best to let you know first officially" ,said Gaara. Now even Tsunade was intrigued as she took out her sake bottle and took a sip of it. Naruto put one and one together and got out his video recorder from the seal, that he had stored for this purpose. "Just tell us we ain't have the whole day. I have to make the modifications on this puppet " ,said an irritated Kankuro while tightening a bolt with his screw driver.

"Well I wanted to officially introduce you to my girlfriend, Sakura Haruno. We got together last night " ,said Gaara as he laced  his left hand into Sakura's and pulled her towards him and hugged her, placing a kiss on her forehead, while she blushed and snuggled into his chest. There was total silence for 5 seconds as all stared at the couple. And then the mayhem started.

Kankuro fainted and was held by Shizune, who was whistling. Tsunade dropped her sake and had a murderous look on her face, same one that led to creating a new record of punching Jiraya and making him fly over 300 metres. Neji and TenTen were clapping, as they had their doubts as both of them had eaten at Ichiraku with them on the previous night. Naruto was whistling too, while moving his camera around the room to record everyone's reaction.
