It had been two months since Naruto had beaten Kakashi in combat and had obtained the scrolls he had aimed for. They had been of great help as he was now able to form A rank suiton jutsus out of nowhere, without being near a water source straight out from air. S rank were proving to be a bit difficult but Naruto was sure to master those too. The trick was simple, send Chakra into air to infuse water droplets with it. S rank needed acute perfection of these and hence Naruto was now training according to the journal to perfect it.
He now was a level 8 seal master, thanks to Yondaime's scrolls and journals. From the past month he was working on the Hirashin jutsu of the Yondaime, something he was quite famous for. It was an 8 kanji seal, but Naruto wanted it to be small and almost un-noticeable and was working on perfecting the five Kanji seal he had made. He could go from point A to B, but could not go from B to C as the sensory skills of Naruto were not that advanced. He needed to be atleast a high jonin in it before attempting the next set, whereas he was still working on it.
He had perfected his Kenjutsu upto all level 10, and even made his own style called ' Naitofu-yuri ' or ' Night fury style ' to honour his Night black swords previous master who had named the blade 'Night's Fury'. The chakra could be slashed from the sword turning into black chakra scythes for Futon and sizzling Black acid for Suiton types. He was proud to hold the sword. His moktoun was progressing slowly as he did not want anyone to get a whisk of it. It anyways took a lot of chakra and he hoped to master senjutsu if he wanted to use moktoun to its full capacity.
He was currently sitting underneath a waterfall, hoping to calm the kyuubi's presence that was nagging him a lot in the past few days. He slowly opened his eyes and found himself in a great sewer with a cage. "So my jailor comes for a visit. Now brat why are you using my chakra and why are you here? Want more of it? Take as much as you want you pathetic disgrace." ,said the Kyuubi lazily.
Naruto was shocked to hear his words. Quickly bowing he replied ,"Sorry it wasn't my intention to use it. It just was nagging me a lot so." ,said Naruto. Kyuubi was a bit taken aback on seeing a human acting respectfully instead of their usual arrogance and not wanting his power. He saw Naruto trying to inspect the seal on his stomach. "Oyee brat what are you doing?" "I'm trying to see the seal, it has the Kanji's for storage, seal, gates and extract. I'm hoping you would help me to change the extract and gates for messaging, peace, stability and nature."
" Why do you want to do it? " ,asked the kyuubi in shock as never did his previous containers thought so much for him. "Well you were sealed without permission here. So better a deal that helps us both. I give you peace to sleep, nature to change the sewer to a nice mountain and other things, remove these gates for you to walk and roam freely in the new surroundings and stability so that everything in nature remains like it should be and not go mayhem in here plus remove the extraction seal so that I don't unconsciously extract your chakra as it is yours and rightfully yours. Also messaging so that you can mind message me if you want anything. And also what is your name as Kyuubi is just a title. " "Call me Kurama. What do you want in return kit?" ,asking Kurama by referring Naruto as 'kit' as he was touched by Naruto's selfnessless by reading his emotions. " A simple thing. Train me. You are a Jin and I'm your Jinchuriki. Why not train and grow strong together like friends rather than be weak so that someone can overpower us and take you. Grow strong together and protect everyone." ,said Naruto.
" You really want to be my friend?" ,asked a wide-eyed Kurama as no one ever asked him that before. "Yes. Like me you too were different used and not treated fairly. It is better for both of us as I have very few of them and you too I guess. Now lets get to work so that we can start training " ,said Naruto as he and Kurama started updating the seal. It took a matter of time before they completed it, with a lot of Naruto and Kurama's chakra to temper it but by the end of it they were successful.
