I stared out into the ocean feeling the water flow over my feet, I heard voices up and down the beach, I looked over seeing Mia walking over to me with beers in her hand, I smiled and met her halfway. She handed me a beer and I kissed her,

Mia:"We should take some surfing lessons."
Me:"We definitely should, would be hot to see you surfing."

She playfully rolled her eyes as she took a drink of her beer, I took a drink of mine and smiled,

Mia:"Definitely gotta try the food later, heard it's the best."
Me:"Maybe we should ask one of the locals for the best spot to eat at."
Mia:"Good idea."
Me:"So if you love it at the farm, would you like to move into the house there?"
Mia:"Oh absolutely babe, I can't wait to see it."
Me:"Just two more days, Gussy loves it over there, always takes care of the animals."
Mia:"How many animals do you have?"
Me:"Hmm let's see, I have a few cows, some bulls, a ton of donkeys along with a emu, a alpaca, a few horses, chickens and roosters."
Mia:"Geez got a farm full."

I laughed and nodded,

Me:"That I do."
Mia:"I wouldn't mind helping out, animals are the best."
Me:"Yea?"
Mia:"Of course, we're married now so I don't mind helping out at all."
Me:"Okay, we'll see how it goes see if your farm material."
Mia:"Seriously? Do you not remember the hunting trip? I believe I can handle it."

I smiled more,

Me:"Yea your right. So about those surfing lessons?"
Mia:"Let's go."

I grabbed her hand walking along the beach, we spotted a small shack that had surf boards lined up in the sand so I pulled her over to it, there was a male and a female running the place,

Me:"Excuse me?"
Lady:"Well hello, are you two looking for lessons?"
Me:"Yes ma'am."
Lady:"My name is Kono, follow me."

Mia nodded and I trailed behind her as we followed Kono. We filled out paperwork then picked out the boards we wanted to use,

Kono:"That's Adam over there."
Mia:"This is going to be so fun!"
Kono:"You've ever surf before?"
Mia:"No, but I heard it's like riding a skateboard without wheels."
Kono:"Your absolutely right."
Me:"Oh geez."
Kono:"Safe to assume you never skateboarded?"
Me:"That's correct."
Kono:"Alright, Adam will help you learn. What are your names?"
Me:"I'm Jeffrey and this is my wife Mia."
Kono:"Awe, how long have you two been married?"
Mia:"We just got married yesterday."
Kono:"Congratulations! Adam we get to teach newly weds!"

He walked over standing next to Kono,

Adam:"My apologies, my wife always gets excited when newly weds come to the island."
Me:"It's quite alright, glad to be here it's very beautiful."
Adam:"That it is, once you visit you'll always come back."
Mia:"I would love to come back, not to change the subject but do you guys know the perfect spot for food?"
Kono:"Actually we do, my cousin has a food truck here on the beach, the food is amazing, but we also know a few other places."
Me:"Actually we would like to try all of them."
Kono:"Awesome! If it's okay with the two of you, we can show you to the food truck after surfing some waves?"

Mia looked at me so I smiled,

Me:"That would be great. Thank you."
Kono:"Not a problem, shall we get started?"
Me:"Absolutely."

Mia smiled bigger and we grabbed the boards following Kono and Adam, before we got in the water they had us lay the boards down on the sand to show us the proper stance, once we got that down it was time to get in the water, I watched Mia, she looked like a natural while on the other hand for me? I definitely looked like I had no idea what I was doing, Mia would laugh every time I fell into the water,
