Rude - Chapter 24

Y/N's POV

After breakfast we all went and sat in the living room. That's when a phone started ringing, it was Yuta's phone. I saw him look at the caller ID and his expression completely changed, it changed to a worried look. He ran out of the room and went to his room. That when I decided to follow him and then I heard him talking to someone on speaker.

"Mom, is she okay?" Yuta asks.

"Yuta, calm down"

"How can I calm down? Is she okay?" Yuta asks.

"Your sister is fine"

"Thank god, is she healing alright? Everything is completely okay?" Yuta asks.

"She's healing slowly but surely, she's been doing a lot better"

"Is she there with you?" Yuta asks.

"Yeah. Sweetheart, your brother is on the phone"

"Hello" the voice was different this time, it sounded younger. I assumed that this was his sister.

"Hey, how have you been?" Yuta asks.

"I've been doing good, just like mum said. You should come visit us."

"Are the burns healing well?" Yuta asks.

Burns?

"Yes, they are healing. They will be gone soon."

"This is all my fault" Yuta says.

"Hey, it's not your fault. I asked to fight even though I know you are stronger than me."

"I shouldn't have used my power, it's stronger than everyone's, why couldn't I have a normal level power?" Yuta says, I could tell that he was going to cry because of the way his voice sounded.

"Don't say that, your power is better than everyone else's in the family, you have a gift. You should use it to your advantage."

"It's more of a curse than a gift" Yuta replies.

"Anyway, I need to go. Have a good day, little brother."

"Have a nice day, I love you" Yuta says.

"I love you too."

Then the call ended. That's when I realised that he was going to see me outside his room if he comes out.

"Do you think you are sneaky? I can hear you heartbeat" Yuta says.

And that's when I realise that didn't come from his room, it came from right behind me.

"You know, that conversation was private and I didn't want anyone to hear it" Yuta says.

"I that why you have been stressed lately, you sister is hurt?" I ask.

"Do you ever know when to shut up?! Seriously, you are so noisy, maybe you should mind your own fucking business and leave me the fuck alone" Yuta yells at me.

My eyes started tearing up. I know what I did was bad but I didn't know he would react like this.

"I-I'm sorry, you're right, I should just mind my own business" I say quietly.

"No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that" Yuta says.

"no, it's fine. I shouldn't have listened in to your conversation, I'll just go" I say.

"No! I didn't mean to say that" Yuta says.

Yuta grabbed my arm and pulled me into his room and sat me down on his bed and then sat on his knees on the floor. He then grabbed my hands and held them.
