Taeyong's POV
"I'm doing this for you all and my son, Taeyong" my father says.
"Thank you, father" I say.
"You should all go home and spend time with your families, we don't know the next time you will be back" My father says.
"Okay, have a nice day" Kun says with a bow.
"No need, Kun, you are like family to me" my father says.
"Have a good day" Yangyang says before teleporting away to his family.
Everyone left to go see their families, leaving me here with my father.
"Taeyong, how was the human world?" My father asks.
"It was very nice, I can't wait to see my soulmate at the weekend" I say.
"I can tell that she doesn't know about you being of royal blood" My father says.
"I never thought it was of any importance, Ten told her that we were pure bloods" I say.
"You are royal blood, they are noble blooded vampires" My father says.
"I'm not ready to tell her that I'm royalty" I say.
"Taeyong, you are the next in line for the throne" My father says.
"You think I don't know that" I say.
"She will have to be turned before you become king" My father says.
"She doesn't want to be turned, not yet" I say.
I know that I'm the next in line for the throne but I need to focus on my soulmate, she is more important to me than the throne.
"She will have to move here, she can't stay in the human world" The king says.
"I know, I'll figure something out" I say, trying to get him to stop talking about it.
"Go put your crown on and then go visit your sister" he says.
"Yes, father" I say.
I went to my room and opened the door, it was the same as how I felt it a few weeks ago but it was obvious that someone was cleaning in everyday even know I'm not here. I noticed my crown on the desk, exactly where I left it. I walked over and held the crown in my hands, looking at it. The ruby red stones are to represent blood and purity, the diamonds to represent perfection and beauty, and the silver represents hope, kindness and unconditional love, my mother would always say that. She said it suited me well.
Flashback
"mother, why do I have silver crown with diamonds?" I asked.
"You are special, I can see you will be a great king one day. The rubies represent blood and purity, the diamonds represent perfection and beauty, and the silver represents hope, kindness and unconditional love" My mother said.
"Do you love me?" I asked my mother, looking up at her.
"Of course I do, who wouldn't" she replied.
"Why can't I find my mate, other vampires my age are finding their mates" I complained.
"They might not be in this world, they might be human" My mother said.
"a human?" I asked.
"You know what they are, you learn about them in school" My mother said.
"Aren't most of them blood bags?" I asked.
"What? No, humans are just like us, the only difference is that they have warm blood, they don't drink blood, they aren't as strong as us" my mother said.
