Natasha Pov
I hadn't really felt much like going to the bar with Wanda and (Y/n) at the party. Not after what I had found out. So I had sat down with Clint and ordered myself a vodka, which I was now extinguishing. Then I leaned over to Clint's ear so he could still hear me over all the noise. "Budapest was much better." Clint laughed and took me in his arms, as he so often did. And that was exactly what I had been aiming for. I knew (Y/n) was watching us and she could quietly see that I wasn't depending on her. "Yeah, but let's be honest, not that cool things happened there too. I prefer this one." I had to grin. But it wouldn't work out that way. I wanted to make (Y/n) nervous. So I took Clint by the hand and pulled him outside where we couldn't be seen. In passing, I grabbed another bottle of vodka and two glasses. "What is this Natasha?" he wanted to know. "For me, it's just a bit too much in there. We can drink and have fun out here," I explained quickly, trying not to look at him. He would see that I was lying. "Okay, so what are we drinking to?" Clint laughed and sat down next to me on one of the chairs outside. I poured us both a drink. "I don't know. To secrets?" I suggested and raised my glass. Clint clinked it and we both took a big sip.
"Is there anything you want to tell me, Nat?" my best friend asked now. I was silent for a while and turned the glass in my hand. Then I said "(Y/n) has a girlfriend. But she didn't tell me anything. She has a girlfriend and she still let me get to her. She lied to me Clint." I explained disappointed. "I'm sorry Nat, but if she didn't tell you, how do you know?" he wanted to know. "She wrote her a note and put it in the suitcase. I read it." "And you are sure that it is not just a friend and not the girlfriend ?" he hooked. "She wrote 'I love you so much' and called her 'little one'. What does that sound like to you ?" I answered and felt tears coming. What was that about? I'm not going to cry over a girl I hardly knew. I quickly took another sip of vodka. "Maybe you should talk to her," he suggested." What for? That I come crawling back like a sissy? Like I'm dependent on her?" I said and got a little louder. "Oh, Nat. When will you understand that feelings are not a sign of weakness? It shows much more strength when you stand by your feelings." I thought about his words. He was right but I didn't want to talk to (Y/n). Not now ! "Mhh. Can we just sit here, drink and be silent?" I asked. "If that's what you want. But remember if you want to talk I'm always here for you," my friend reminded me. And what he said was true. He had always been there for me as long as I knew him. He was usually a child but he recognized when the situation was serious and acted accordingly. Maybe that was also the reason why he could now just sit silently next to me and still comfort me with his mere presence alone.
After some time, the contents of the bottle had decreased significantly. I was all the fuller for it. "Thanks for sitting here with me, Clint," I said, clearly noticing the alcohol in my blood. "Always happy to do it again. But I think you should go to your room now. You've had quite a bit to drink." I nodded slowly and needed a while before I could continue talking. "Will you take me upstairs?" Clint nodded, got up and helped me up. Together we walked to the elevator. When we reached the top, he accompanied me to the door of my room. "So here we are. I assume you can manage on your own?" said my best friend. "Yeah, good night Clint and thanks again," I answered him and leaned a little on the door frame to stand upright. "Good night Nat."
(Y/n) Pov
Just a few minutes after I got to Natasha's room and laid down on the bed without changing clothes, I heard voices outside the door. It was Clint and Natasha. Had she been with him all evening ? Again I felt this tugging in my stomach and it was bugging me. "So here we are. I assume you'll be okay on your own?" Then why did you come at all? "Yeah. Good night, Clint and thanks again." Thanks for what? "Good night, Nat." Then his footsteps moved away. When the door to the room opened, I lifted my head. There she stood, in her black dress, with her red curls and her green eyes, looking at me. "Hi, there you are! Wanda and I missed you at the bar," I greeted her. "I guess I'm not the only one you missed," she threw back snappishly, which confused me a bit. What did she mean by that? "Are you okay?" I asked because of that. "I just don't like it when people play games with me." Now I was even more confused. I got up and walked to Natasha, who had closed the door in the meantime. "What do you mean?" I asked, standing right in front of her so that I could feel her breath on my skin. And even I, who had drunk quite a lot, noticed that she was not very sober either. "Don't act like that. You know exactly what I mean," she evaded my question. "Well, if I knew, I wouldn't ask." I returned. But she still looked at me in silence.
"So...?" I asked again. "Were you planning to tell me that you have a girlfriend? Or did you want to wait a little longer?" she finally said. I looked at her astonished for a moment. "A what? You mean like a real relationship ?" "(Y/n) don't take me for a fool, I read the note," she said and I had to think twice before I realized what she had just said. "You what? Have you ever heard of privacy?" I wanted to know and realized that I was getting a little angry."It was in my pocket!" she returned and I rolled my eyes laughing. "Okay. First of all, that's why it's still a note to me. Second, Lizzie is not MY friend but my BEST friend. And third, which one of us was flirting with Clint before at the party?" I asked a counter question for a change. "Then you are not with her?" "God no. How can you believe that, she's like a-" I couldn't continue talking because at that moment Natasha pressed her lips to mine. "Sister to me," I finished my sentence after our lips parted again. "And what about Clint?" I asked, a little puzzled. "Oh just shut up," Natasha said. Then she grabbed me by the shoulders turned me to the door and pressed me against it before kissing me again, which I returned directly. Her lips were incredibly soft and tender. Now she deepened the kiss even more and pressed herself closer and closer to me. Finally, there was not a millimeter of space between us. In me, everything turned, but I just decided to enjoy the moment.
