Back to Tomai's POV
I looked back, the door that let us out of the room where Nekure had been, the door was closed off. I turned back to look forward. It was dark and there was very little amount of torches. Kye put his arm around me, seeing my discomfort. He looked at me, "You okay?""It's not everyday you meet a ghost from your past blaming you something you had no control over," I said with a sigh.
"Hey, it's not your fault," He stopped walking and grabbed my shoulders, "Okay? You had no control over what happens to people. You just warn them."
"You don't blame me for your fate?" I asked.
Kye shook his hed, "Never."
I smiled and we hugged for what seemed to be hours. Soon we were on our way again, spirits high and a smile on our faces. We held hands as we moved through the dark corridor then came into a room with a glass wall, on the other side was a door and Anik. On our side was a ghost girl, who I recongized right away. I nearly backed out but Anik saw us and waved.
The ghost girl turned and saw me, Kawit. You have come.
"Yeah..." I said, "It's Tomai now. You know. Change face, change name. Heh heh," I said nervously.
The ghost girl held a straight face, Well, I'm Taylor now and Anik here promised he would free me.
"Anik...?" I looked at him, "You do know what that means, right?"
"Of course!" He said, "That's why I was hoping you giving up your immortality would count."
"Everyone has their reasons to be on this trip," I muttered to Kye, who just nods. I looked at Anik and let my mind go.
I saw him with Taylor, they were happy together. Kye was there, looking at me smiling. Orlan was also there, being himself. We were together, plus Taylor. I brought my mind back. "It'll work," I said and Taylor's face lit up as she smiled.
Oh! I can't wait! She exclaimed.
"But how does Anik get passed the glass wall?" Kye asked.
He can't until I'm freed. Taylor explained.
Anik nods, "You guys go, I can wait."
I nod as a rumble sounded from above us. A hole in the roof opened and Oraln fell in with a loud thud. He seemed fine because he had gotten right back up. He looked at Kye and I then at Anik. He studied the glass wall, "I was going to hit you, but I'd have to wait."
"Why were you going to hit me?" Anik asked, clearly confused.
"For wasting time talking to a girl." Orlan replied.
"There's a glass wall! I couldn't go on!" Anik exclaimed, offened, "And Taylor is really nice."
Taylor waved at Orlan and I explained everything to him. He questioned about Nekure and I explained that too. "So only us three can continue?" Orlan asked.
No, I have to come in order for me to recieve life again. Taylor said and soon the four of us were setting out to find the stone. Taylor look the front as our guide and Anik sat behind the glass wall.
