We set up camp for the night. Well for the guys atlest. I'd going to my cloud to sleep.
Kye held me as Orlan and Anik argued. They weren't bad people, they were quite funny to be honest. We still had about two days untill we got to the pyramid. No one ever goes there because it's so far off from the towns and cities. But that only made our quest harder.
Once everyone was asleep I went to my cloud and sat there. We had to be quick, we only have this week. I was afraid that we wouldn't be able to do it, get stone and go home in time. Kye knew of my worries and he tried to relax where he could, but I was still worried.
Four kids trying to get a mythical stone that might not even be real, people would think we are insane. And I believed it. This was insane and dangerous. I looked into the fate of this quest and I couldn't see it. Anything was possible at the point. Anything.
The next morning I returned before they woke up. Only Kye knew about my cloud. Anik was the first to wake, then Orlan, then Kye. I sat beside Kye as he made breakfast. I didn't eat of course. Once we packed up we set off again. It was going to be long and we made sure we had lots of water.
Orlan asked me questions on history and I answered best I could. Anik was off being silly and Kye listened as Orlan and I talked. After a few hours we took a break and ate lunch. Then kept going until it was nearly dark, ate then went to sleep. This repeated the next day too.
At about noon on Wednesday we had found it. It was small but still looked huged at the same time. We circled around and Anik looked for a way in.
It looked pretty sealed though. Orlan was studing it then we head a crumbling sound. We found Anik who had leaned against the hiden door and the door lifted and rocks fell from the door with sand and dust.
We looked into the darkness, knowing a treasure laid inside that could change our fates forever.
