My friends were together in the room with the glass wall that wasn't there anymore. They just stood there, thinking that I was dead. Kye looked very upset over it. I did tell him.

We sat on the couch in his house, I had just explained to him what I was then I started to tell him his fate, "Kye, the fate you have been given is more of a warning of what's going to happen."

"What is it?" He asked.

"The day will come when the one you love the most won't be standing next to you. You will stand with a new group of friends but the one you love won't be there among them. You will find new love like you already have. Your life will be happy." I finished and I looked at him.

Five minutes passed before he spoke again, "I'm going to help you."

"Huh?"

"I want to be with you, your amazing. So I'm not going to let you go. I do not accept my fate." He said.

That how this crazy quest started. He figured what his fate meant. He knew I was going to leave, but he didn't think I was going to die. He didn't know. He only delayed his fate.

I stood in a dark corner, in my own body, my chestnut hair pulled back into a braid and I was wearing a white tunic and gold sandles. One could say I looked like a godess. I smiled and walked up to Kye. I tapped him of the shoulder, "Excuse me? Hi, I'm Destiney but you know me as Tomai."

Kye looked at me wide eyed. The others gawked at me. Anik spoke first, "Tomai?"

"Destiney now. My birthname!" I said with a smile, "I'm mortal now. Kye?"

Kye continued to look at me like I was a ghost. Then he hugged me, "Destiney, very fitting for you."

I blushed and hugged him back, "Told you this would happen."

He laughed and then we all grouped hugged, smiles all around. It felt great to be with my friends again, and to be starting my life as a mortal like I was suppose too. After awhile I explained to them what Majesty told me about my past. They seemed okay with it and soon we were making our way out of the pyramid. I stopped and remembered I still had the ruby. I handed it to Orlan, but he shook his head. We all agreed to leave it in the pyramid.

Leaving it behind, we left the pyramid and headed back to town to get on a plane home. Orlan, Anik and Taylor came with us.

I slept on the plane ride home and I felt happy. More happy then I ever been.
