Noah had begun to notice the way that Emil looked at Vincent, and he had most definitely begun to notice his change in behavior towards his motherly roommate. Emil would now walk Noah to school, getting to Vincent's apartment even before Noah was awake, would then help Vincent with the breakfast, see Vincent off for work, and then walk to college with Noah with a dreamy look plastered over his face. Much to Noah's disappointment, however, Vincent seemed quite oblivious to Emil's flirtation and romantic advances.

"It's nice to finally have someone help with breakfast."

"You're lucky you have someone else to get you to school early."

"Emil is really nice, you should make sure to keep him around for your own good, you brat."

Sure, Noah knew that Vincent considered his friend handsome-sexy even- but his stupid roommate couldn't see past that for whatever reason. So, when Vincent was feeling under the weather, Noah knew that Emil would come to the rescue. So, one fateful afternoon, he pulled his phone out and dialed him.

"Hey Emil, you'll be happy to know there's a certain someone who could use your help."

"Is-Is this your way of asking me for help?" Emil's confused voice rang out.

"What? No, you dumbass, I'm saying your beloved Vincent could use an extra hand at work."

"...."

"Hello?"

"Really?" Noah could hear the excitement and anxiousness radiating from his friend through the phone.

"Yeah, man, he's not super sick or anything but his head has been hurting- I had to get him some pills earlier it's been going on for a while."

"O-ok, yeah! I'll help!" Noah could only dream of Emil having this enthusiasm to helping him with homework. "What time should I show up?"

"Get here at 9, he'll be having breakfast by then, you can walk him there." Emil happily agreed and they hung up, one of them elated to be around his crush and the other satisfied with his work as a matchmaker.

The next morning came, and the sun shone through Vincent's window. Golden rays of early sunshine hit a mound of blankets, from which a loud groan was emitted.
Waking up somehow managed to suck more than usual for Vincent. His alarm hadn't gone off, but his pounding head was enough of a wake-up call.
"Aughhh....goddamn." He rolled out of bed and out his room. The only thing that could help him now was some tea. Making it to the kitchen, he had to double check he was awake when he saw his blond roommate making breakfast.
"Morning, sleeping beauty." Noah said with a smug smile. Vincent narrowed his eyes, and without saying a word, he spun on his heel and walked back into his room. "Wait, wait, wait!" He heard Noah say though his door.

"What do you want, brat?"

"Come out of your room."

"Mmmmno I don't feel like it, I might just not go to work today I don't know."

"I have a surprise for you." That caught Vincent's attention, though he didn't know whether to feel curious or worried.

".....is that a threat?"

"Well, I guess you'll have to find out," cue the doorbell, "ah and you'll be able to do so right now."

As Noah walked away, Vincent only rolled himself back into his covers and closed his eyes. That is, until he heard a familiar voice ring out into the small apartment.
Shooting up, he nearly slammed into his door as he ripped it open and then locked himself in the bathroom.
