Part 2
Caleb was walking in front of Jake, excitedly chattering while looking for his seat. Jake smiled, there was something so charismatic about Caleb's contagious excitement, and Jake was starting to get attached.
"This is my seat!" Caleb looked backwards and up at the taller male, "where do you sit?'
"Oh, um..." Jake fumbled with his papers, looking for his boarding pass. The plane has three rows, three seats on the side rows, and two in the middle rows. Caleb has seat 15C, putting him right by the aisle.
Seat 15F.
That put Jake in the two-seater middle row, one person away from Caleb.
"Seat 15F." Jake looked up from his pass only to see Caleb's pouting face in front of him. Then he nodded slowly, and put his bags down on his seat. Jake was kind of disappointed that the shorter man didn't make a bigger deal out of their situation.
Jake turned around and reached his seat. Just as he sat down, a middle aged woman appeared and started settling on the seat next to him. She smiled at him and sat down, he returned a small smile, catching a glimpse of Caleb around her figure. Jake sighed and leaned back, closing his eyes.
"Excuse me, ma'am?," Jake jolted upwards, and looked over towards the source of the voice.
It's Caleb!
Caleb stood next to the middle aged lady with a smile on his face, "Could we switch seats? The guy next to you is my friend." The woman looked over and Jake and then Caleb, "Sure thing honey, give me a second."
The woman gathered her things and settled in Caleb's old seat. Jake grinned up at Caleb, who was dropping his jacket on his new seat.
Caleb sat down and grinned back cheekily "What? Did you actually think I was gonna leave you?" Jake blushed and just as he was about to answer, the announcements started playing.
The two men buckled up and settled into their seats.
Hour 1--Caleb POV:
Man, ten hours is so frickin long. Though having a hot gentleman as my seat partner sure makes everything better. Dang it, he put his jacket back on, I wanted to see his BeAuTifUl ARMS. Wait I think he's talking to me.
"--Caleb?"
"Uh-huh?" I turned to a worried looking Jake.
"Do- do you want to watch a movie together?" He was smiling earnestly.
AWWW he's so cute! How could I say no?
"Sure! Waddaya want to watch?" He smiled, and looked at his screen. Once he started scrolling through, I started going through the movie list on my own screen. We ended up deciding on Hitch, which had Will Smith as the main character.
The actual premise of the movie is pretty good, as well as the characters and conflicts.
So far, the flight is enjoyable, though I wish Jake and I could've shared earbuds, but we're using our own earbuds and watching the same movie on our own screens.
Hour 2--Jake POV:
Caleb's laughs and giggles are extremely contagious, and whenever he laughs at a joke that I don't even find that funny, I can't help but smile as well.
Soon, the movie ends in an expected, but deserved, cheesy ending.
Caleb took his earbuds out and smiled at me. I could feel myself melt inside.
