Klaus's POV: The nurse checked me and Dave out the hospital after making sure he was ok to leave. Dave was used to Ben by this time because I have channeled him a lot in the war, I'm starting to get used to channeling him. Ben offered to carry Dave, I really wanted him to be careful so I followed him closely. It took a lot out of me to make Ben carry him. He placed Dave down in the passenger seat. It was almost 1 AM. "Klaus, where even am I? What are we in right now?" Dave says in a very sleepy tone putting his head in his hands. I chuckled, "Well the war is over, I um, we time traveled, into 2019. This is where I came from. We are in a car right now." He took a moment to process it while we were driving back to the mansion. I took a deep breath knowing I would have to explain to everyone about how I have started the apocalypse, I know how this will go. I parked the car and looked over at Dave and admired him for a moment, he was asleep. When I saw him all my stress lifted. His beautiful hair, face structure, everything he was just such a beautiful face to look at.
I shook Dave a bit to wake him up, "Darling we are at my house," I whispered. Dave sleepily got up and looked out the window shocked, "This is your house? Wow it's beautiful Klaus!" I smiled, "Well it's my dads, after he passed we all came to visit, I'll explain everything tomorrow to let you process everything right now." He nodded while yawing. I left the car and opened his door helping him out, "Now Im going to put you in my room so I can talk to my family ok?" I told him and he smiled a bit and nodded. I knew he was happy to finally meet my family, he has always talked about it. He pulled me in for a kiss and I held that kiss for as long as possible. I never wanted to let go of him but I knew our time was so so limited...
I walked him up the stairs and unlocked the door, everyone was in the living room with Five he told them I had some explaining to do, and boy. Did I. We walked in and immediately everyone looked confused, "Klaus! Finally you're home, who's he? And why does Five say you have some explaining to do." Vanya immediately stated getting up. I waved for them to sit down and shhed them, "Vanya vanya, let me settle him in my room and me and Five will explain ok," I said walking up the stairs grasping Dave's hands. I opened the door to my room, luckily Diego offered to clean my sheets after he left the hospital. Suddenly the room around me changed to war, my breath pattern got rapid, I saw them die, I saw Dave almost die in my arms, in the car..everything started to blur.
Dave's POV: We walked into the room, then Klaus paused, I looked around the room in awe, he had such an amazing sense of style and a huge imagination. Something I wish I had, I chuckled a bit. "Nice room Kla-'' I turned and saw him on the floor breathing heavily, I moved as quickly as I could and got down to his level immediately. I didn't care how damn much it hurt I quickly held him in my arms. I rubbed him head, and rocked him, "Hey hey shhh, it's ok Love, there's no war here your safe, I'm here ok." I grunted a little because my wound still hurt. He started to calm down and immediately helped me up, "Dave you can't bend like that, you could open your wound, does it hurt? Are you all good??" He started ranting, I kissed him, "Klaus baby, I'm ok alright, I just want you to feel safe." I assured. Him smiled and cupped my cheek, he then went to his closet and handed me some clothes. And wow they looked cute, all his clothes were a bit smaller than mine but these looked very comfy and loose. I didn't know what they were, "Here's a hoodie and some sweat pants, I have to go downstairs and explain to my dumb family about everything. Feel free to explore ok, just please go easy on your chest alright." He then kissed my fore head and left.
I changed into the clothes, it was a bit tight but very very comfortable. I explored his room a bit, he has a lot of alcohol bottle which kind of made me sad. He has always used alcohol and drugs to drown out the war. War is terrible and adding that on to what his dad has done to him and his childhood he has serious depression. I'm just glad he came to me for it, I'm so very grateful and happy to help him through it all. His love is what helped me through war, his love is what helped me sleep at night. And now...knowing I have to die to save the world..it's worth it if he's happy and safe in the end.
Klaus's POV: So now he's here...and I have a few days to kill him or five will to save the world. I took a huge deep breath. Allison and Diego hugged me, "Why can't we just kill him sooner? It would save us a lot of worry and time." Luther suggested. "Are you kidding me? Luther. Shut the fuck up, Klaus just told us he time traveled to war for almost A FUCKING YEAR and you have the audacity to say that." Diego started to yell, I rubbed my head and started to get a headache. "PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE LITTLE GIRL GOD. STOP. I WILL KILL HIM WHEN I CAN OK. I THINK IT WOULD BE HARD TO KILL THE LOVE OF MY LIFE BUT YOU WOULDN'T KNOW BECAUSE YOU'VE ONLY EVER LOVED DAD." I didn't know where that came from. "I'm sorry Luther I don't know where that even...I'm sorry.." Luther looked at me with rage but then just walked off. Fuck. What did I do. I started to walk up the stairs to my room. "Goodnight Klaus, please stay safe." Allison said from down stairs. Tears started to form and I walked into my room with my head down.
Dave quickly came and grabbed my hands, "Darling, it wasn't your fault ok, you were mad it was a long long day, come in let's go lay down ok." He started to rub my back as I wiped my tears. He lifted my chin and pressed his forehead against mine and didn't lift eye contact, the more I looked into his eyes the less I thought. I layer down on the bed and he came lay next to me. He kissed me very passionately, I kissed back like I never wanted to stop. He's all I could ask for, all I want, all that I need and more. He's my love. My life. And I can't tell him, "I love you Dave," enough.
IM SO SO SO SORRY FOR THE LONG ASS HIATUS CHFHFJFJ I Had a lot going on but I'm so glad I got around to finishing this chapter but unfortunately the next one shall be the last. I hope you guys enjoyed this story!! There will be a new one coming soon too!! Also I'm deeeeeply sorry for the angst-
