Estherre Blaiffyn:

-"General, we've arrived on Nar Shadaa. Still no word from Agent Galen?" Estherre questioned.

-"Negative. I'll warn you now, the project there is... I should've ended it years ago..." The general sighed, looking away.

-"Conversations like this never end well..." Blaire reflected, irreverent.

Her voice always sounded just a little sarcastic, or annoyed, or both, as though she really couldn't be bothered with everyone's bull, always snarky, and she still had the Empire's accent. Estherre found it almost amusing. There was never a dull conversation with Blaire. The general ignored her.

-"After the Empire's victory on Coruscant during the war, people were terrified. We looked weak, helpless. We set off authorizing research into science we had no business exploring, using technology to turn ordinary men into living weapons. The Powerguard program was about creating the ultimate soldier, one tough enough to fight a Sith head on."

-"Why go through all that trouble when you already had Jedi?" Estherre wondered.

-"Your Order was nearly extinct... The Senate feared you might never recover." He explained, "Nar Shadaa has the latest advances in cybernetics, combat adrenals and personal weapons. Everything we need to create the Power Guards. There's also a distinct lack of government oversight. You're in Hutt territory, neutral space, laws are practically non-existent..."

-"This goes against everything that the Republic stands for..." Estherre reflected.

-"I tried to distance us from the corruption, I thought I could keep us clean... I placed a single operative in charge of the Powerguard project, gave him full authority over it and enough credits to fund the program. The research facility works in absolute secrecy, I don't even know where it is."

-"But now, the enemy does..." Blaire said, scornfully.

-"Our operative's name and contact information were on the file stolen on coruscant. Our operative has disappeared, and Agent Galen has vanished trying to find him. I can only assume they're dead or captured."

-"Great job. I know why the Republic put you in charge." Blaire muttered sarcastically.

-"If they're alive, we'll save them. But what of the weapon project?" Estherre questioned, ignoring her friend's comment.

-"That research can die, for all I care." The general responded, "I need you two to coordinate with the Strategic Informations Service branch on Nar Shadaa. The bureau Chief's name is Rieekan. SIS headquarters is hidden on the Promenade. You'll visit a merchant's shop and use a secret turbolift at the back to meet with Rieekan." The General ordered.

-"Promenade, shop, secret turbolift." Estherre recaped.

-"I feel like a spy already." Blaire grinned.

-"Transmitting location coordinates and turbolift security code to you. Good luck. Marsupra out." And with that, the call ended.
