You knew you had to stay strong for him because if he found out that you were affected by it, it would completely ruin his mood for the award show. Jimin was one who would hate whoever who tries to hurt his loved ones. He wouldn't be happy or accepting at the fact that they get to hate so freely. This was why he had always been careful with you.
It was the day of the BBMAs. Jimin knew that the fans saw the clip and you two have discussed about it.
Flashback:
"Did you see the video?" Jimin asked as we were laying on bed.
you nodded.
"Is anyone sending you hate? Did they find you?" he asked worriedly.
You lied and shook your head no. You knew if you were to say yes, he would stay up with you and make you delete your apps and he would stay up all night telling you not listen to the haters.
Little did you know, he didn't believe you. He always knew when you lied. He just nodded, not wanting to question your tired figure any longer and called it a night.
When you were asleep, he went onto your phone to see your Instagram which was filled with hate comments under your posts and death threats sent to your dms. He looked at them in shock and his heart started to race quick. It was the fact that they didn't actually know whether this was the person in the video as it wasn't confirmed and yet they were sending so much hate.
He sighed and turned off the phone , then pulled you closer to him, kissing your forehead. It pains him to know that you lied to stay strong for the both of you.

You were now getting ready to follow them to the BBMAs. Jimin has been quiet and seemed to have a lot on his mind.
"Are you okay babe?" I asked as he was sitting at the end of the bed.
He didn't reply. I sat down beside him and made him face me.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I know the fans found your instagram and sent you hate" he said looking directly to your eyes.
You just looked down avoiding eye contact to stop him from seeing the pain in your eyes when you recall back the comments and dms you've read.
"I'm so so sorry this is happening to you. I should have been more careful. I should have protected you from the media" Jimin said.
I just shook my head. "You don't have to apologise, it's not your fault" I said.
He placed his hand under my chin to make me look up at him. His eyes were just as teary as mine.
"I've read the comments Y/N, it's so harsh" he said.
At this point, you just broke down and he pulled your head to his shoulder. He rubbed your back to comfort you because he knows you liked it.
"You don't have to stay strong everytime baby, please tell me when you feel like the hate is getting to you. I need to reassure you that those comments are not true. You are the most beautiful, perfect, person I've ever laid my eyes on. I wouldn't choose anyone else if I haven't met you really. You're the one I want, that's all that matters"
After I have calmed down from my sobs, I pulled away from his shoulder and looked up at him.
"I love you" I said.
"I love you so much" he said and pulled me in for a kiss.
After awhile of just being in each other's arms, we decided to make our move. I was wearing one of his hoodies with some mom jeans and nike air forces. Jimin was just wearing a hoodie, jeans and converse. They were all going to get ready backstage at the arena so they're leaving early to arrive earlier.
I checked myself at the mirror to see my nose and eyes were red and puffy from the crying. Jimin noticed and handed me his sunglasses for me to put on. Before we went out the door, Jimin kissed my forehead one more time before holding hands and walking out the door together. We met the boys at the lobby before the whole crew made their way to the carpark.
I went into the car with Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and Namjoon. I laid my head on Jimin's shoulder as he had his hand above my hand on my thigh. He kissed my forehead a few times, and caressed the back of my hand. The whole ride was silent, it was a comfortable silence though.
When the boys were getting ready, you were out with Aera to grab lunch for everyone. The boys then asked Jimin.
"How is Y/N doing?" Namjoon asked.
"She's trying to keep it all together... we had a talk this morning and she completely broke down," Jimin sighed.
"I saw the tweets about her, it was so disgusting" Taehyung said.
"I hope the fans would stop doing things like this... it's gone too far" Jungkook said.
Jimin just shook my head not wanting to be even more upset and disappointed with the fans than he already is.
The boys have been very caring and extra careful with you when you came back with Aera. Suga was even started sharing with you some new mixtapes he made to ask for your opinion. When the boys were off to go to the red carpet and the interviews, Jimin gave you the biggest hug and pecked your lips.
"I love you so much," He reminded.
"I love you, take care," I said.
"Take care of her for me while i'm gone!" Jimin yelled to Aera causing the whole crew to laugh which made me blush in embarrassment.
That night, the fans noticed how off Jimin was. He showed signs that he was upset and disappointed with the fans causing the fans to come up with their own theories again.

Guys, can we please stop sending hate to any girls the boys hang with. Just because they're interacting with a girl doesn't mean they are dating. Even if they are dating, what does that have to do with us? If we are truly their fans, we would support them in whatever they do. Dont be upset when y'all see Jimin lose his precious smile. Y'all did that.

I 100% agree with the last reply. C'mon everyone. It's not wrong to date. I mean, at their age, it's totally normal to have someone in their lives. I hope that they are able to find someone in their lives that will love them and care for them as much or more than we do. And I genuinely hope fans would not interfere their relationship/private lives if they chose to share it publicly. They are here to share their music and message to us not for us to beat them down because of dating rumours/ anything that goes on in their private life. Know where we all stand. We are fans/supporters who support them because they have impacted/touched our lives positively. Support them for their music and the message they want to spread. Spread love everyone.
