Third POV
It was the day of your group's concert and all that was on your mind was the vlive that you and Jungkook will be doing after the concert to announce that you guys are dating. You were pretty nervous since both companies have released a statement about anticipating news from us tomorrow and fans were already going crazy about it. They were all creating their conspiracy theories. Many expressed their excitement and already thought that we are going to publicly announce our relationship.
The boys had schedule today, they were doing soundcheck for the concert tomorrow and some photoshoots for a magazine. Jungkook said they might come to the concert if they end on time because the boys really wanted to watch our full tour concert for a long time since we only ever watched each other's award show performances which is usually never enough.
Y/N's POV
The girls and I were already backstage getting ready for the performance. My family and friends were here to watch the concert too. They were backstage for awhile to take pictures and catch up with each other before we had to prepare for touch up to go on stage.
"Y/N say hi to the camera" Lia said whilst holding the camera.
"Hi to the camera" I joked trying to let off some nervousness causing Lia to laugh.
"As you can see, she is pretty nervous right now. Why are you nervous Y/N?"
"Um... I'm performing at my hometown, my family and friends are here to watch, I hope I don't make any mistakes and ruin the performance" I said.
"When have you ever made a mistake? Girl, you are flawless on stage" Lia said pushing me slightly.
"Says the one who never misses a beat" I teased back.
I was then called to the make up chair to get my make up touched up. I practiced my vocals while getting my hair touched up too.
"The boys are on the way here" Ara announced.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah, they just ended and still wanted to come to the show, we have prepared VIP passes for them, they can join your family" Ara said.
"Can you pass me my phone?" I asked one of the staff.
I finally saw the text of Jungkook saying that they are on their way and if they have not arrived before we go on stage, he said goodluck. I smile at his cute message and replied.
"Don't be nervous, you'll do well" Ara said, seeing my fidgeting my hands.
"thanks ara. I'm just nervous about the whole thing right now," I said honestly.
"If they are truly your fans, they would be supportive of what makes you happy. It's not wrong at all to date so you shouldn't worry too much about what they think and focus on keeping your relationship" she advised.
I nodded listening to her. She made sense. I'm not doing something wrong, dating is normal at my age. Why am I scared of what others think? After that short conversation, the girls and I got together, did our cheer before heading to our starting position under the stage. The boys have not arrived yet so I'll probably see them at the crowd near my family which were sitting at the VIP area on top.
Skip to the performance
In the middle of our first song, I looked up to my family and saw the boys wearing masks and bucket hats. They were all dancing to our song and enjoying themselves.
Throughout the whole performance, I could see my mom literally dancing with Jungkook and laughing with the boys. She deserves to be happy after everything she has went through and i'm glad the boys could do that.
After the concert, we all gathered backstage while we wait for our cue to leave the venue.
"You did such a great job honey" My mom said giving me the biggest hug then moving on to the other girls.
My friends and family congratulated us for our successful concert and took pictures.
"Jungkook! Join our picture" My mom said.
Jungkook excused himself from the conversation he was in with Jake, my childhood friend, and stood on the other side of my mom.
"Aw!! This is so cute" my aunt who was taking the picture gushed causing the rest to look and tease.
"Let's take a group photo!" My mom said making the rest join the photo.
Jungkook changed his position and stood beside me. While the rest were settling down, he rubbed my arm and said, "you did so well on stage".
"I saw you enjoying yourself with mom huh" I teased.
"She's a great dancer, just like you" he said smiling adorably making me blush at his comment.
"Are you blushing?" he teased bringing me closer to him.
"Stop" I said hiding my face in his chest.
"Adorable" he said kissing my forehead.
"okay last one" the staff announced.
Jungkook and I looked at each other and laughed because we weren't posing for the other times that they took pictures. We finally turned our attention to the camera.
We said our goodbyes to my family and head back to the hotel with our managers. Jungkook suggested we go to mine since he didn't want me to go back late to my hotel if we go to his.
"Are you guys ready?" Ara asked while we were in the car.
I looked at Jungkook who was already looking at me, anticipating my answer.
I nodded.
"I'm ready"
