You and Taehyung have been dating for over a year without the public knowing. It was definitely very hard for the both of you since both of you were in the most successful groups in KPOP. Furthermore, with the strict korean idol standard, it definitely took a toll on the both of you. Of course, there were bumps along the way but that never stopped the both of you from loving each other.
When both groups were touring, you guys would facetime each other every single day whenever the both of you were available at the same timing. It was either a long facetime or a short one just to release the miss. When the both of you are finally back in Korea after tour, the two of you would sneakily have a date but at your own homes. It was either he would come over to your apartment or you will go over to his. Even so, you had to wear discrete clothes to avoid sasaengs who were always on your tails.
It was definitely hard. Currently, you were both attending the same award show. It has been a week since the both of you had seen each other even though both groups were in Korea. You two were busy preparing for new comebacks hence spending time with each other has been the minimum.
Y/N's POV
"Isn't this outfit too cold for the weather?" I asked while looking at the outfit the stylist has put on me through the mirror.

It was a black cropped strapped top paired with a black mini skirt/shorts. The rest of the girls were wearing long sleeves with skirts that wasn't as short as mine.
"Unnie, that's true. Why does she have to wear this? It's literally winter," Jisoo asked.
"I don't know, the management said she has to wear that. I guess to show off your figure." she replied sighing.
"yah..." I said annoyed.
This wasn't the first time they put me in something unreasonable. I usually like modest outfits but even if it was an outfit like this, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But, it's freaking winter season. I should have more layers.
"No time for complains, it's time to get going" Choi, one of our in charge, said.
We then piled into the van that was waiting for us.
"Taehyung would not be happy to see you with this outfit, especially in this weather" Lisa whispered.
I just looked out the window not wanting to be too absorbed in my anger. I was pissed at why I had to have this on. But I knew that if i were to make a big deal about it in public, I would only get scolding from the management.
Throughout the whole red carpet, I faked a smile. It was so cold, I could barely feel my legs. The girls helped me warm up by standing close or even going for a hug here and there to keep me warm. Everytime they do, they keep saying how cold I was.
The crowd started to get louder causing us to turn our attention to who they were yelling for. BTS have arrived and they were all wearing warm clothing and outfits that MADE sense to be in considering the weather. Taehyung and I accidentally made eye contact and he broke it by looking at the outfit i was wearing. His eyes literally gave the shocked look and his smile dropped. I just turned back my attention to the cameras before it becomes obvious that he was looking at me.
After our interviews and photos were taken, we finally could go backstage to our green room.
"Are you okay?" Jisoo asked.
"It was freezing out there" I said rubbing my arms trying to warm myself up.
We were just hanging backstage before having to go on stage at the start of the show. A few moment later, a staff came and informed us that the bts boys were coming. It was normal for both our groups to hang with each other more ever since Taehyung and I dated. Even before that, we were already close as groups.
"Annyeonghaseyo" Jin said walking in and bowed to the people in the room.
The rest then came piling in and bowing too. Taehyung was first to come to me and gave me a warm hug.
"Yah... why are you not wearing something warm?" he asked while still hugging me.
"The management told them I need to wear this"I said while closing my eyes and taking in his warmth.
"I'm so angry, but I don't want to ruin the mood. I've missed you so much" he said kissing my head.
After awhile of just catching up with each other together with the other members, a staff member then mentioned that we have to get ready backstage to go out on stage. Both groups then left the room and made our way behind the stage. Along the way, there were other groups who were also heading the same way.
Taehyung then slipped his arm on my waist and walked beside me as he noticed NCT members were along the hallway. He gets protective over me sometimes because he knew you were a popular topic among the boys and since you and Taehyung were not publicly dating, they usually use that chance to make people ship you with them. He's being extra protective because of the outfit you had to wear and he knows how uncomfortable you are with it.
"Be careful, they may be filming something," I said to Taehyung who was really ready to risk it all.
"I don't care" he said coldly.
I knew he was annoyed at the fact that I had to wear this the whole time out. The venue better be warm. After most group have gathered behind the stage, the show began.
skip to in-between the show
Our group was sitting diagonally in front of the boys while NCT was sitting beside us. The show staff then handed us a blanket to put over our exposed legs. I felt someone staring at me from the side so I turned and noticed Jaehyun just looking at me. After he saw me looking, both him and I quickly turned back our attention to the stage to avoid any delulu fans from shipping us.
Halfway through the show, we had a longer commercial break and right after it would be our performance. The girls and I then went backstage to get our in-ears put in and basically just preparing before getting on stage. As I was getting my make up touched up, I felt an arm wrapped around me as a familiar scent filled my nose. I turned my face to my side where he was resting his chin on my right shoulder.
"Goodluck for your performance" he said then placing a kiss on my neck causing me to giggle from the tickle.
"thank you" i said kissing his cheek causing his boxy smile to show.
"Yah Taehyung~ah, you can't just leave alone like that" Jimin said catching his breath.
"Oh, goodluck on stage guys!" Jimin said after noticing we were preparing to go on stage.
We all thanked him before Jimin pulled away Taehyung to get back to their seats before people get suspicious. He blew me one last kiss before allowing himself to get dragged by Jimin. Such a dork.
When we get the cue to go on stage, we walked out from the side and as soon as we stepped on stage, the crowd only got louder. The lights dim and our in-ears started to give the cue to our songs.
