Third POV
Jungkook and Y/N have been friends since they were trainees and they have the same friend group, 97 liners, where every idol who were born in 1997 were in. You and Jungkook have been definitely the closest to each other in the group since you guys' parents always hang with each other ever since they met each other the first time. Now that the both of you have debutted in 2 successful groups, it got hard for the both of you to hang out as often but through texts and calls, it made it possible.
Fans were aware that the both of you were best friends since trainees hence they were okay when they saw you two interacting with each other during award shows or variety shows. Of course there were new fans who were unaware about the chemistry and threw hate to you.
Y/N's POV
"Yah! You cheated!" Jin yelled in frustration.
"No I didn't! You're just the worst at this game" I teased knowing that it would make him even more angry.
"YAHHH!!!" Jin laughed angrily.
"Can you two stop fighting?" Jungkook, who was using his phone beside me, said.
"Your best friend started it first" Jin said.
"No, he did. He yelled at me" I said in shock after Jin accused me.
"Yah! YoU-"
"There you go again" Jungkook said.
"Jin hyung, you're just bad at this game" Jimin said and plopped himself beside me.
"Thanks chim" I said then stuck my tongue out at the annoyed Jin.
"Do you want to follow me to the convenient store?" Jimin asked.
"Sure" I said putting down the controller.
"What? Just the two of you?" Jungkook asked.
"Ya" Jimin said cheekily.
Jungkook wanted to say something but shrugged it off and went back on his phone.I then grabbed my cardigan on the chair and a mask before following Jimin who was waiting at the door wearing a cap and a mask.
"Be careful, its already late" Jin said before Jimin closed the door.
We then walked to the convenient store nearby and grabbed some snacks. We decided to eat Ramen at the park in their neighbourhood since the weather was good. We sat at the picnic table and chatted while eating our ramen and snacks. Jimin was someone that I could easily open up to since he also opens up to me a lot hence we have created a bond. He was like a brother to me.
"Y/N-ah, I just wanted to ask this, and you have to answer truthfully." Jimin said and I just nodded.
"Do you like Jungkookie?" he said and I almost choked on the snack causing him to laugh.
"Is it not obvious already?" I said.
" I KNEW IT! Yah... you two are so blind" he said.
"what do you mean?"
"everyone can see how in love you two are with each other but just the both of you" he said shaking his head smiling.
"How do you know if he likes me, I don't think he does." I said.
"Trust me, he does. His actions says it all." Jimin said and just on time, my phone started ringing.
"speaking of the man himself" Jimin said looking at the caller id.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where are you? Its already late. Why is Jimin making you stay out late? " Jungkook said.
"Yah, we are just eating and chatting, we will go back soon" I said.
"It's too late already, pass the phone to Jimin hyung" he said.
Third POV
You passed the phone to Jimin who then cheekily said "annyeongggg" to an angry man over the phone.
"Jimin hyung, bring her back... its too late already. Why are you guys out for so long?" Jungkook said.
"Aish... you miss her already? Fine, we are going back now" Jimin said while cheekily smiling at you.
"Take care of her" Jungkook said before they hang up.
"lets go, your boyfriend is worried already" Jimin teased.
"YAH!" you said slapping his arm.
