Numbness following the excruciating pain tapped onto his flesh. Jimin was already half-conscious, blurring all of the clarity left from the present realm. But one thing remains to be clear - the color of blood overpowering his vision.

He was beaten up real hard, and he was sure that one last blow will be the end of him.

But he remains breathing, although barely.

He was dragged inside a trunk of a vehicle. Even if his senses were impaired, the reeking smell of metal admixed with wood filled his lungs.

He tried to stay alive as he envisioned his sister being dead after him. It was pure horror, the only thing he was most terrified to happen, which made him reprimand his body to have his blood flowing and his heart continue beating.

He bargained to the Almighty, to spare his life so he could first make sure his sister was safe. Then afterwards, he'll be ready to face his death if it was his fate.

The next thing he knew, he was left in a pavement where passersby never considered to take. No deep reasons why. It's just that it's dirty for their own liking.

He was thrown in a garbage, he was treated like a garbage, and he felt like a garbage.

"Beat him up. Make him believe he was left there to die. But make sure he still has the capability to stand up and get to his sister. He's our only key to Jennie."

Jungkook's command echoed inside the heads of his armed men. Hence, they stayed inside the car that was parked a few meters away from the filthy pavement. As their eyes were glued on him, they waited for every bit of movement coming from Jimin's body.

They can't mess this up.

"One mistake, one shot to the head."

Taehyung came home from the eatery, and just like any other day, his feet automatically went straight to Jennie's room.

He sighed as he caught sight of the food he left for her before going to work. She has not eaten anything for days.

He slouched down and picked up the glasswares that once contained a freshly prepared meal. He wasn't able to remove his uniform as he went to the kitchen to wash the dishes, planning to cook another meal for the woman who hasn't talked to him for days.

He had been spending more time at the eatery, while Jennie refused to move the slightest bit. He need to make up the manpower lost.

On the first day of her breakdown, Taehyung went out to buy food, only to come home with no Jennie in sight. He panicked, but somehow had an idea to where she was.

At the eatery. Finding this so-called "Jungkook" she kept mumbling in her sleep.

And he was right.

His eyes met a hysterical Jennie, who was shouting a name that felt like the only word she knew. She interrupted every men who walked pass her, pulling them closer to her while taking a good look on each of their faces.

They called her crazy, he almost believed she really was, but he knew better.

He immediately ran to her and he was forced to encircle her in a hug as she tried to escape from him. He said no word until Jennie had a grip of herself. Somehow she felt calm, which led her to have a hard hit by the fact that Jungkook was already dead. It was impossible. Seeing him again would never happen.
