Part 37

Dropping Jedrek, Ares went straight to his home. The day's activities were starting to take a toll on him. First Hera's accident. Next Rowan's question. And then his feelings for Hera! Sighing he went to take a shower. After half an hour, he came out and saw Asher lying in his bed. That immediately brought a smile to his face. He patted his head and headed to kitchen. Preparing dinner, he and Asher ate. He soon retired to his bed. He was just lying thinking about nothing and everything.

He was mainly thinking about Hera. How everything changed after her arrival. How he was changing after her arrival and everything. He was remembering every second right from the time he met Hera. Hera never failed to amuse him. Always she had something that surprised him. Then he remembered her care and her antics. He also started realising that just the mere thoughts of her gave him peace. He was feeling happy and contented. He was feeling as if he had found a missing puzzle of his life. Hera seemed like the part of his life that he was longing to find. He wanted to be with Hera at all times and that thought brought him solace.

Thinking everything he also remembered today's accident. He had no idea who was behind this and he felt like killing them for hurting his Hera. He was stuck at that thought. He sat upright in his bed. HIS HERA? Like really? From when? Again he went into Hera land and finally sleep overtook him.

In the hospital.

Doctor was checking Hera while Rowan and Athena were waiting impatiently.

Doc: "You are perfectly alright Ms. Hera. You can go home. But don't forget your medicines. They are must if you want to be healthy like before.

Row: "Any issues doctor?"

Doc: "No. Just for her safety. The smoke has weakened her a bit. We need to restore that right?" Hera nodded smilingly.

Hera, Athena & Rowan: "Thank you doctor"

Doc: "It's my duty. Take care"

With that doctor left the cabin and Hera was discharged. To her surprise, Rowan had brought her to his house. Athena understood that from her confused face.

Athena: "Till you are perfectly fine, you ARE STAYING HERE. No more arguments" Saying she helped Hera to her room in their house. Later they had the dinner and called it a day. But sleep was far away from Hera's eyes. She kept thinking about Ares. Did he really care for her or was it just humanity? Soon she too slept with questions.
