"IT'S THE UNKNOWN THAT DRAWS PEOPLE"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the little girl left the hideout she tried to remember her way back to her village, the village that she despised the most.
'where is it? if i can't find it in about a minute i might lose my sanity, again...'
she eventually found her way and when she arrived blood, corpses and human bones were evident, she felt nothing though and proceeded her way to her room in their family's house, the basement. Yep, that's her bedroom. she then met the door of her room and entered, she searched for something in the room as she was met with a familiar hairpin that had been with her since forever
[^Credits to the owner^]
She let out a sigh of relief and pinned the hairpin on her white hair bun and left the place. Grief, joy, sadness nor regret, she felt nothing of these. Her heart became a fortress filled with numbness.
'They brought it upon themselves.'
She thought to herself as she searched for anything left that she can pawn for money to buy necessities. Unfortunately, she found nothing for the Spiders had already stole every valuable items in the village and so she had no choice but to hunt for now.
'Those people who found me... they're strong, I should distance myself from them until the day that I'll be repaying them for releasing me.'
She made her way to a lake close by and took a bath and washed her clothes as well as it was full of dried blood all over. When her clothes went dry and she was done bathing, she slipped through her clothes and sat beside a tree. she then cooked some fresh fish that she caught and began munching. She was lost in her thoughts but was still able to keep her guard high due to practiced lifestyle.
'I wonder how long I've been there, my wounds from before seemed to have healed already, and how did I even survived without starving to death?... '
After eating, she leaned on the tree and closed her eyes until she felt a presence coming from her back, his aura was very pure so she let him be as her instincts told her to do so as well.
"Ah– hello!" A young boy with long spiky black green tipped hair and large, hazel brown eyes, his outfit was composed of a green jacket with reddish edges covering a black or white tank top underneath, green short shorts, and green laced boots. "My name's Gon!"
When she opened her eyes the boy's face was curiously looking into hers, she simply nodded in acknowledgement to his presence. Gon then started talking to her again, "I haven't seen you around here before, are you new here??"
She was not a fan of talking. She only opened her mouth when it was necessary. But she was impressed by this boy's aura as it was not tainted by any negativity —yet- so she decided to humor him.
