What Happened?

Ik, about time I updated! Been busy, sorry. I have a new account now (@Insane_Outsane) so I'm rarely on this one. Go follow it! I update stuff more! And now please just ignore the random new Titans I made up in one of the previous chapters because I feel like that was a stupid idea so they're not gonna be in this story anymore. Sorry. A lot of POV switches in this chapter :P also, it's a really long one! Finally! Because I feel so horrible for never updating! This is my best chapter yet I think

Misty's POV:

We haven't run into the new villain guy again yet. I wonder what happened? The villain isn't in jail so he really could be anywhere. Anyway, we're on a mission right now. Someone, hey maybe it was the new guy, is mind controlling innocent citizens! Right now we're in a cave surrounded by random people trying to kill us.

"Raven, Misty!" Robin ordered. "Go find the control room and shut the mind control down! We'll stay here and try not to die without hurting people!"

"Alright! Let's go!" Raven and I ran down the the hall to the left. Surprisingly, there were no people guarding the control room when we found it. I walked in and saw a note on the chair.

Raven read it aloud. "I'm just testing you, you know. Trying to see your strengths and weaknesses. I'm new here, need to assess what I'm up against. This is easy. After all, no ones here. Just gotta find the right button. You're smart, you've got this. My next test won't be like this."

"What the hell?" I asked. I then turned and looked at the array of buttons, levers, flashing lights, and random stuff. "At least we know it's a button, so that eliminates all the levers and other things."

Raven turned to me. "Right. But which button? There's about 50."

"Probably not the red button cuz that usually just blows everything up in movies." I reasoned.

"Hmm... That button says 16 T... Would that have anything to do with the fact that there's 16 letter Ts in the note you just read!?" I started thinking.

"That's it!" Raven said. "Are you sure you should press it though? What happens if it's not the right button? We have no idea what it will do."

"Just gonna go for it... 3, 2, 1!" I slammed my hand down on the button. We heard a noise and then silence.

"I don't think it worked." Raven stated.

"Stop being so negative, I think it did! I'll race you back there!" I yelled, sprinting out to the room and down the hall.

"Ugh." Raven complained. I don't think she's actually racing. Oh well.

Robin's POV:

"Alright, Let's go!" Misty yelled. Raven and her ran out of the room.

We're fighting innocent people that have been mind-controlled. We don't know who's behind it, but Raven and Misty need to shut down the command center so we don't have to fight these people anymore.

"Holy crap that guy's got a bazooka!" Cyborg screamed. Starfire was in the line of fire. I jumped and pushed her out of the way. I almost got hit, it was so close. We heard the sound of something hitting concrete and cracking. "Oh no..." Cyborg looked over.

"Beast Boy!" Starfire and I screamed. We ran over to Beast Boy, who was lying on the ground, not moving.

"Huh?" "What am I doing here?" "Where am I?" The people asked each other, confused. I guess Raven and Misty shut the command center down.

"Raven and Misty are coming back any second." I told Cy and Star. Raven really likes Beast Boy... If she saw him... "We have to hide Beast Boy! Stand in front of him and act natural!"

Misty came running down the hall yelling "Come on Raven, you're so slow!"

I hear Raven, probably farther down the hall, not as close to us, mutter "I never agreed to racing." Just then Misty appeared at the door way and came to stop just in front of us.

"Hey guys. Why do you look nervous and sad?" She noticed we were in a line, blocking her from something. She tried to walk around me but I stepped in front of her. She looked at all of us again. "Wait...Oh my god..." I think she realized Beastboy wasn't standing in our little line here. Misty ran past me, shoving me to the side in the process.

"Ow" I rubbed my arm, annoyed. I have no time for minor things like that. We have to focus on Beastboy. Misty had tears dripping down her face as she sat on the ground next to his body.

"What happened?" She questioned us. "Is he dead? Will he be ok?" Then she got up and walked over to me. "We can't let Raven see him like this. She'd freak out."

Raven's POV:

I walked into the room the other Titans were in. Looks like shutting the command center down worked, all the random citizens are mulling around now, not attacking anyone.

"Hey." I greeted my team as I walked up to them.

"Hi." Misty said, smiling. I could tell the smile was fake.

"What's wrong?" I asked. The rest of the Teen Titans shared a look. Uh oh. Then I noticed. "Where's Beast Boy?" They all started looking around nervously. "What happened? Is he ok?" I started panicking. Oh god, BB. The last thing I said to him before this was an insult. I don't want that to be the last thing he ever hears me say to him! I didn't even get to tell him how I feel...

"Guys, we should let her see him." Misty said and stepped aside, shooting me a worried glance.

I ran over to his body on the ground, tears already dripping down my face. "Beastboy!" I hugged him. "Wake up! Please be ok!" By now a couple of the random pedestrians started crowding around trying to see what's happening.

"W... What... What happened?" Beastboy stuttered, slowly sitting up and opening his eyes.

"Beastboy! You're ok!" All of the Teen Titans yelled. They swarmed him and I was surrounded by them and random citizens. I got pushed back and lost sight of BB.

"Terra!" I heard Beastboy squeal with excitement. I pushed my head through the crowd to see and sure enough, Terra was there! How could that be though, she died saving us! I guess he was telling the truth when he said he saw Terra before. I walked away and bumped into Misty.

"Are you okay?" Misty asked. I turned back and saw Beastboy hugging Terra. I couldn't help it; a tear slipped out. Misty saw what I was looking at and hugged me tightly. "You really like him don't you." It's like she read my mind. I nodded. "You should tell him." Misty said.

"What?! No! He obviously likes Terra, not me! He hates me!" I protested.

"There's a possibility he won't feel the same way, but I know he definitely doesn't hate you!" Misty reassured me.

"Are you sure I should do this?" I stalled.

"Yeah, you'll feel better after, no matter what." Misty comforted.

"Okay." I sighed.

I turned away and Beastboy was right there. "Are you talking about me?"

"Um.. Umm..." I stuttered. He looked at me strangely.

"Well, I just saw Terra!" He changed the subject. I guess he could tell I was uncomfortable. Well now I'll probably be even more uncomfortable.

"Yeah..." I looked down at the floor.

"Raven..?" He put his hand on my shoulder. "Do you wanna talk or something?"

"Uh yea well.." I started.

"I love you." Beastboy mumbled out of nowhere.

"What?!" I was taken aback.

"I'm sorry... I don't know why I said that... I wasn't thinking." He shook his head.

"I love you too." I smiled a real smile for the first time in what seemed like forever.

"What?" He started blushing and so did I.
