Superhero?

Lila's POV:

I still can't believe I have superpowers! I can be anything I want to be. That night, just for fun, I went on my roof and jumped up. I didn't want to jump off the roof yet because I wasn't completely sure I could fly. But hey, you've got to try, right? Something amazing happened. One second I was jumping, the next I was gliding through the air like a bird. I let out a scream of exhileration. Best. Night. Ever.

Then I crashed into someone, or was it something? I wasn't quite sure. It looked kind of like a green eagle. "Green?" I thought. "Most birds around here aren't green. Even the beak and talons are green!" The eagle flew over to a roof nearby. Then, it transformed into a boy, but it was still green. That's pretty unusual.

"Hey, watch where you're going, dude." the green bird-boy said. Wait a minute, I recognized that costume he was wearing. He was from one of my favorite shows (it's not on TV anymore). I just met Beast Boy, formerly of the Doom Patrol, now a member of the Teen Titans. I had to control myself before I started out-of-control fangirling.

"Who are you?" he asked. "I've never seen you around before." You know, this would have been 1,000 times cooler if I was meeting Robin, but at least it's a Teen Titan.

" I am..." I thought for a moment. I have to come up with a really awesome superhero name. "I'm Misty." Hey, I was rushed. I probably could've come up with a way better name if I had the time. He looked at me strangley for a second.

"Cool name." he said. "Come with me." Come on, he's a Teen Titan. I have to see where he's going to take me. A couple minutes later we were standing in front of Titans Tower.

"Wow this is even cooler in person!" I exclaimed. He looked like he was about to ask me what the heck I was talking about, but I guess he changed his mind. He walked into the huge T-shaped building, and I followed. "So, why exactly am I here?" I asked him.

"Recruiting. You're a superhero right?" He explained. "You have any interest in being a Teen Titan?"

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod. I'm going to be a Teen Titan! Well, first I need a costume...
