Does She Recognise Me?

Misty's POV:

As I flew towards Cinderblock, I saw that there's a reporter on the scene. I'm pretty sure I recognised her but I didn't really remember how. Wait, wasn't she the person that talked to me after the ship wreck? Yeah, I remember she was! I was about to go over and say hi but then I remembered two things: 1) I'm supposed to be fighting Cinderblock right now, and 2) Then she would know my secret identity.

I heard the reporter start talking. "Here is a girl watching the battle from the sidewalk next to our news van. Hello, what's your name?"

"I'm Lyric!" she replied. Lyric? That's one of my best friends! I hope she doesn't recognise me! Now I'm glad I made this costume from brand-new clothes instead of clothes she has seen me wear before. Lyric was describing the battle between us and Cinderblock. "And then they were all like boom! Pow! Shooting light rays and stuff, and then Cinderblock fell and it was like a massive earthquake or something! And everyone thought the Teen Titans won but he got back up and thekpt fighting and it was just crazy freakin' awesome!" Did I mention how dramatic Lyric is?

"Misty!" Robin called. "Get the ground slippery by making it wet. Starfire, Raven, get something to tie around his legs!"

"Aye, Aye, Captain!" I responded. "Did I really just say that?" I laughed. Robin gave me a weird look. Oh well.

I channeled my powers and brought a bunch of mist around Cinderblock. Now how do I turn this into water? Hmm...

Well mist is basically a mix of air and water, so to change it fully into water I need to get it colder. "Ok, think cold. You can do this." I thought.

Immediately the mist turned into ice on the ground. "Well, that's a little too cold, but whatever." I said to myself.

Starfire and Raven pulled the rope tight around Cinderblock's legs. He tripped and fell as they started tying him up.

"Good job girls!" Robin congratulated us.
