Band of friendship

Lila's POV:

{ Dear Diary,

It's been 5 yrs since the accident. They still don't know who's fault it actually was, though many people blame the captain. Worst part, no one, not even I, have found PJ. One of my best friends, he went missing without a trace. I refuse to believe he might be dead, but there's a slight possibility. I hope I find him. Anyway, today is my band's first rehearsal!!!! Yayyyyyyy!!!!!!! I still can't believe I'm in a band! Well, I got more important things to do today than sit here writing this. Bye. Sincerely,

"Alright Lila! You ready?" Screamed Lyric. She was always this dramatic, but she's my best friend so I can't really judge. "Come on, stop fooling around, J." Our other band member's name is Julie, and we call her J. Then there's Summer, who sometimes sings, and other times is our manager. She isn't really that talkative, but she is smart.

"Ready!" I said, and J started the beat on her drums. Summer was being our lead singer for this song, and I was on piano. Lyric strummed her opening guitar chords and we started the song. We didn't even notice the door was open until after the song was over.

"Hi! Stupid song, but it's better than your other ones!" My cousin Jake said, laughing.

"Wow, real mature, Jake." I said, rolling my eyes. He acts like such an idiot sometimes. Also, he makes me want to punch him in the face. He's actually one of the "popular" guys in his class, but I don't care. Normal is overrated anyway.

"If that song was so bad, let's do it again to practice!" Lyric yelled. " You ready?!" Right when the words were out of her mouth, the fog machine exploded! There was mist and debris from the machine everywhere.

"What just happened???" J said, coughing. "Did Jake do this?" It was definately something he would do. Then, all of a sudden, the mist started swirling around me. It was just like it was at the wreck. I'm sure none of my friends saw it, though. They would have said something.

"OMG!" I said. "Let's get out of here!" As I pointed to the door, all of the fog and mist swirled over to it.

"Okay, this is getting freaky guys." Summer said. We ran out of the room. I think I knew what happened then. I have superpowers, just like the heroes in my favorite comic books. I can control the mist.
