- mild swearing

- food mentions

Ranboo made go with him to his next class even though Tubbo wasn't in it. He claimed it was "because education is important" but even in his fuzzy state of mind Tubbo knew it was to keep an eye on him. The teacher didn't notice as he walked in behind Ranboo and sat on a chair next to him half out of it. Ranboo wrapped an arm around him and they stayed like that for the rest of their last class.

Dream was happy. He was in his favourite class with his favourite teacher and Karl was in it. School couldn't get much better. There was a knock at the door and another teacher walked in, acting like they owned the place.
"I need to talk to Clay Schlatt" Dream cringed at the name, she looked up from her papers and directly at him. Oh. Oh, it was this lady. The teacher looked at him and he stood up.

"You're failing"
"Yeah, pretty much." She didn't look impressed by his answer.
"You're a senior next year. You can't fail or you can't graduate and I don't want to see you around here anymore." Yeah well, no sugar coating I guess.
"Miss it's not my fault, school is just so boring! I would rather watch the birds eat out of the bins."
"Yeah? Well, that's what you will be doing if you fail because you sure as hell won't be getting a job!" He scoffed, I already have two jobs, both of them are 1000x better than whatever it is you're supposed to be doing.
"I have a job." She looked mildly surprised at that, it looked like she was going to comment but another teacher walked past.
"That's not what I'm here to talk to you about today. Could you follow me to my office?" The smile on her face was so fake it almost looked painful, he snickered but agreed to follow.

The lady walked to the back of her desk and sat down, indicating for Dream to sit opposite her.
"You and your brother seem to have some learning ... disadvantages. And the school wants to help because there is no way your brother is in grade 10 and still can't read properly. Especially since you've both been attending school since five years of age." Dream internally cringed at that statement, the files of them were almost completely made up. That fact especially. However, that phrasing. It sounded so similar to what JSchlatt says so often.
"What do you mean disadvantages? We are just as capable as everyone else here."
"Well, certainly neither of you are showing that or you wouldn't be here. In fact, the only reason your brother isn't here too is that we couldn't find him." I'm glad, I do not want him here after the day he's had. She rolled her eyes as though she could hear his thoughts.
"Listen, some teachers have been talking and they think you might have ADHD or something similar and Toby almost certainly is dyslexic based on what teachers say he describes reading words as." Dream already kind of knew this, people had told him before and it didn't take a genius to realise that reading and writing weren't Tubbo's strong suit,
"I think it would be best if we got you two tested, this should also help your grades since you were both undiagnosed for so long." Dream didn't answer and instead wrung his hands together while thinking, what if he does, what would his father say? Would they be hit?
"I'll arrange a test for tomorrow for both of you."

RING RING RING RING

End of the school day. Tubbo lifted his head from Ranboo's shoulder, he rubbed his eyes and sat up straight.

"It's all good Tubs." Ranboo smiled at them, "Just the end of the day." Thank god, today couldn't have been any longer.

"Can I go to your house this afternoon?" Tubbo watched as Ranboo packed up his items. "You don't have to say yes, obviously," he added on quickly, "just don't feel like going home." Ranboo looked down at him since he was stupidly tall.

"Of course, you know you're welcome anytime, my parents love you." That struck a cord in Tubbo's heart, he didn't believe Ranboo, there was no way Ranboos parents loved him if his own couldn't even stick around or get so wasted they didn't have to deal with him. He only smiled though and began following Ranboo as he basically marched out of the room.
