"Clay Schlatt and Toby Schlatt to the office immediately." The two looked at each other.

"Shit. This early? I haven't even had any time to cause problems yet." Dream laughed at his little brother as they both headed towards the office building. Dream held Tubbos hand in his, gently rubbing his thumb over it. Despite Tubbos silly remark Dream could feel the nerves radiating off them.

"You know what you're here for Dream?" the same teacher from yesterday looked at him skeptically. He gave her an unenthusiastic nod in return. "And have you told your brother Toby about today's plan?" She peered over the rim of her glasses to look down at them.

"mhm, he's all up to date" Dream just wanted to get this over with so he could get food and leave.

"Well I'm just going to run over what's going to happen and then you can head in Dream seeing as you're just bursting with happiness."

Why on earth would he be happy about this? It was literally during the time he was supposed to have his favourite class, which he was 99% sure was intentional by this bitch of a lady.

"... and over all just make sure you are on your best behaviour, ok?" Tubbo nodded from where he sat, Dream looked up a little confusedly, to be honest, he hadn't heard most of those 'rules'.

"Dream? Did you hear that?" that teacher lady stared at him with a glare despite the reasonably calm voice she said it in.

"Yeah, course." he stood up without another glance at her, smiling reassuredly at Tubbo before pushing open the heavy door and walking in as confidently as he could.

Tubbo wanted Ranboo in here with him. Ranboo would hug them and talk sweet encouraging words about how everything was fine even if he didn't know what was going on. honestly, Tubbo would even accept having Tommy in here with him, loud voice and all. there was just something oddly comforting about the blonde boy's presence.

he could hear mumbling from the room that Dream was in, he had done enough eavesdropping in his life to make out a few words through the thick door.

he heard words like "how long.... symptoms..... the past..... effected.... life...?" Tubbo decided it wasn't worth listening into. he was lonely, the lady had stopped acknowledging him as soon as Dream left the room. that often happened, surprisingly. Tubbo didn't know why. He assumed it was because of the way they presented themself or maybe Dream just radiated 'hurt him and I'll hurt you' energy. either way, he wasn't overly fussed about other people. he had Dream and Ranboo and he would be content with that. He also knew he could trust Karl and Karl's friends, even Tommy and Wilbur. Wilbur had very big 'older brother' vibes he decided.

"tubbo? tubbo. Tubbo!" Tubbo's head snapped up.

"Sorry, sorry." it was that lady again.

"hurry up kid, we don't have all day." Tubbo did not enjoy that tone of voice and scrambled up quickly, seeing Dream being escorted out with a teacher. He looked back up towards the big door. it looked more menacing, more likely to hurt him than it did before, there was no Dream and no Ranboo to hold him, he had to brave it on his own.

Breathe. One foot in front of the other. Breathe. step. Breathe. Step. Breathe- he was at the door, the teacher lady was standing over his shoulder looking at him expectantly.

"go on." she snapped at him. one last deep breath and he extended his arm out to the door, eyes shut tightly and breath held he finally pushed the door open slightly and slipped inside.
