This book has been on hiatus since August 2020, almost coming to a year! I honestly didn't think time would fly so fast and neither did I imagine taking a break from writing and Wattpad in general for this long. I had a feeling it would take longer to come back than I thought.
I started this book when I was in high school as a pastime, never really expecting it to be read and enjoyed by all of you readers. Yet as time gradually passed, people age and grow older, their tastes changes, feelings changes, personality changes and overall become a different person than they were.
I guess, I was growing out of the age of writing and I lost a lot of motivation and creativity to come up with stories that I thought would satisfy. I didn't want to write stories that didn't meet my standards but I didn't want to abandon this book entirely. Elysian has too much meaning to me and to see how far we've come together makes me a little emotional.
After much thought, I've decided to come back to where I've left off and finish this book once and for all. I'm not sure how my update schedules will be like or how the quality of content will be. I just hope that to those of you still reading, you will look forward to updates in the near future and continue to support my work.
I can't thank each and every one of you for reading, voting and commenting. To know that this book is still being reached out to readers while I've been away is shocking to me and I can't help but feel motivated to continue writing for your enjoyment.
For now, requests will still be closed while I post the last requests that I never got to write.
