a/n Sorry if Daichi seems a little (or maybe a lot) OC... I just thought that even if he seems a little oblivious at times (cough, cough, Yui), I think this boy can be straightforward when he wants to. Hope it's okay for you guys!

"Is it just me, or is someone staring at me?" Daichi muttered under his breath. He could somehow feel someone or something staring at him from somewhere, yet he couldn't quite place where it was coming from.

"Hmm?" Sugawara raised an eyebrow, looking around the classroom. "I don't think so?"

"You're probably being paranoid," Asahi suggested, going back to their group work.

From the corner of the room, you sneaked another glance at Daichi. Your face fell when you realised it was impossible to get close to him now. He was surrounded by his closest friends, which meant any small move you tried to make would get you caught. Sugawara almost caught you, but you quickly pretended to be looking at something outside the window.

You groaned internally. If only you were less careless about your books, you wouldn't have found yourself in this situation.

Going back about three periods ago, you were simply minding your own business as you paced around the class, stressing about the test next period. Your friend came hurling out of nowhere, surprising you and suddenly dragging you outside, talking rather loudly in your ear. Surprised, you dropped your notebook on the desk beside you and quickly forgot about it as you were forced out into the corridor.

By the time you realised, it was already the next period and your class was in another room. You silently cursed under your breath. You could only hope that whoever it was that picked it up, wouldn't look inside.

Despite being labelled as your English notebook, you couldn't help but doodle around the borders. But it wasn't just doodles. Inside were several drawings of a particular male classmate of yours that you had fancied since the beginning of the second year. When you first saw him, you didn't think of him as much. Not until you accidentally walked into a volleyball practice did your view change.

The way his muscles contracted and the sweat falling... you couldn't help feel attracted to the boy. Once you started noticing him, it became increasingly hard for you to converse with him, so you simply stood by the sidelines, watching him from afar.

Unfortunately for you, of all people that could have picked it up, it just had to be Sawamura Daichi. You didn't realise until you came rushing back to the classroom after your test, searching frantically for your book, when you saw the corner of it peeking out of someone's bag. You happily sighed, making your way over until you froze.

"Shit."

Daichi was sitting there, chuckling with his friends as they seemed to be talking about something about the new first years? You timidly walked back to your seat, staring straight at your book as you sat down. There was no way he had looked inside of it, right? If he did...

"AH, STUPID ME," you yelled, banging your head on your table. The class went silent, looking straight at you. You felt your face erupt into all shades of red.

"...sorry," you mumbled, burying your face further in your hands from embarrassment.

Fast forward back to the future, you were still figuring out a way to sneakily take back your book to avoid any interaction with Daichi. Eventually, you came up with a plan to ambush his bag when he leaves the classroom. It seemed like a fail-proof plan, but now you had to wait for the perfect opportunity to strike. This meant you had to follow him closely until an opening appeared. This wasn't stalking, right?
