Help Me Up ❀ U. Wakatoshi

a/n In this one-shot, you're going to be left-handed, okay? Sorry for those who aren't; I'm not one either ^^. Also, you're going to be Tendō-san's twin sister because I haven't seen many AUs like this, so why not?

"Satori~, please let me come! You're always telling me about your awesome moves and stuff, yet you don't let me watch!" you whined at your twin brother Tendō. 

"Well~," he imitated, "it's not that I don't want you to come... it's more that -"

"EXACTLY!" you screamed in his face. Honestly, Tendō didn't think you were his twin sister. He thought you were the spawn of Satan. Always whining, screaming, pouting, and ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS getting what you wanted. 

"Pleawse???" you gave your puppy dog eyes, hoping he was going to fall for it. 

'Idiot.' he thought, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.

"I know you just called me an idiot," 

'Damn' 

"and you just said 'damn'... and don't you just 'damn' me!" you cried, punching his chest repetitively. 

"Fine. ouch. FIne. OUCH! I SAID FINE." he yelled. "Just don't be late to practice tomorrow." 

"Hai~ nii-chan!" you saluted and made your way to your bedroom feeling accomplished.

As you walked closer to the gym, you heard loud thumps. 'Is someone already there?' you thought to yourself. 'Damn, I thought I was going to be the first.... well whatever!'

You climbed up at a window, hoping to see who was inside. Grabbing unto the poles, you lifted your body upwards, just barely getting a glimpse of who was inside. Just as you looked in, you realised there was no one there. 

"Strange... I swear I saw someone in there..." you muttered to yourself, pinching your right arm. 

"Oi. Who are you, and what are you doing here?" a masculine voice interrupted. 

"AHHH!" you choked, falling back on to your bottom. "Ouch." you whimpered, slowly pushing yourself upwards. 

You looked up, and there you saw the most stoic looking face. His short brown hair, complimented well with his dark hazel eyes, you noted to yourself. 

'He looks familiar...' you thought, 'OH. Wait a minute, he isn't, right?? It can't be..'  

"AH! YOU'RE THE COW GUY." you shouted out loud. Suddenly realising what you just said, you blushed a dark shade of red. 

"Yes?" he questioned, looking at you weirdly. 

"I- I -I,"

"I hope you know that stalking someone is rude."

"W-wait, I wasn't trying to -"

"Well then, hurry up and get off the ground. It's dirty." he curtly interrupted. 

You pushed yourself off the ground, using your arms as a support. That's when you realised something. You couldn't get up by yourself; you had weak knees. In middle school, you had over practised your spiking and jump serves, that you had busted your knee. Not to forget the humiliation you faced, the loud pop of your knee cap coming out, during one of your important practice matches. After that, you remembered how protective Tendō was, never letting you get up by yourself, always offering a hand. 

"Umm, could you help me?" you asked, signalling by putting up your left hand for support. 

Ushijima had turned around about to say something blunt, but he stopped himself. He stared at your hand that was trembling slightly in anxiousness. 

"A-are you left-handed?" he asked emotionless. 

"A-ah.." you retracted your hand in embarrassment, about to put up your right hand, when you felt someone grip your left hand tightly, pulling you up. 

Unable to comprehend the current events, you got to your feet unconsciously, still holding unto his warm hand. As you were about to say your thanks, you realised that "the cow guy" was already walking back into the gym.

"W-wait!" you shouted, cupping your hands around your mouth. "T-thank you cow guy!" you grinned at your last sentence, causing Ushijima to blush a little. Before you could run off to find your brother, Ushijima quickly spoke.

"My name isn't 'cow guy'... my name is Ushijima Wakatoshi." 

"Well, thank you Ushiwaka-kun!" you smiled before quickly bowing, "Oh! And my name is (y/n) Tendō, twin sister of Satori if you didn't already know. Please take care of my brother, okay?" 

Before Ushijima could say anything else, you had run off and vanished somewhere in the school. 

'What a weird kid... and Tendō's sister?' Ushijima thought to himself, shaking his head in confusion. But then, did he really care? Nope.
