The day had passed so slowly, Elle wished for all that had happened to go away. Jaelynn remained in Jake's old room that he had shared with her. Only Molly and Jesse were allowed to go inside the room to talk to her. All the other girls shunned Elle, even Riley. Although Jaelynn's recruitment had not been Elle's fault, the vast majority pinned the blame on her. The only ones who would speak to Elle was Brody, Happy, and occasionally Jared. Ezra had mysteriously disappeared from the warehouse as well. This worried the blonde most of all.
Brody had called her his girlfriend but wanting to wait until she survived training made her question whether or not he truly believes in her. Or if Ira had planned on killing her the whole time, which meant she had been dead the entire time. While she trusted Brody, Elle knew there was so much he was holding back from her. Dominique, for example, is such a touchy subject that he changes the subject when her name is barely uttered. Elle wonders who she was and why she isn't around anymore. Obviously she was killed at what Elle assumes was Ira's order. But why won't Brody tell her? For some time now, Elle has begun to speculate that perhaps Dominique had been lovers with Brody. The thought of Brody having had his lips or hands on another made Elle seethe with envy.
The smell of boiled chicken and rice filled the warehouse, waking Elle from her nap. She wandered out of the sleeping quarters into the kitchen, seeing that the gang had yet to arrive. Riley and Paige were gathered around filling their plates, Jaelynn and Molly being absent. Elle stood in the doorway, unsure how to approach the two girls. She felt guilt despite not having a reason for so. As she started to take a step forward, someone roughly bumped her shoulder. Molly stopped and turned to look at her, a smug expression on her pale face.
"Can you ever not be in the way?" The bright blonde remarked, her blue eyes cold as usual. She turned to the other two girls, who had stopped to watch the scene. "Be careful, now, and let her get her plate first." Molly turned back to Elle with a wicked grin on her face, "She may kill you if she doesn't get her way."
Anger boiled up inside Elle. Before she knew what was going on, she was on top of Molly with her fist flying. Molly reached up and grabbed Elle's hair, yanking hard. Elle's talons went straight for Molly's face, digging into her skin which caused her to wail loudly. Blood trickled down Molly's face as Elle deepend her wounds, shaking her head to try and get Elle's claws off of her. The two fought, letting out screeching sounds that one would presumably mistake for two alley cats being murdered.
Molly's knee raised up and jabbed Elle in the groin, making her groan and fall off from the pain. Her body roughly slams into the kitchen table which intensifies her pain. Molly quickly hopped on top of Elle, who proceeded to roughly embrace her, flipping the two over once again so she was on top, her hands grasping Molly's throat.
