Something shakes Elle's shoulder awake. When the blonde looks up, she sees Brody standing there dressed in a sweat pants and a hoodie. The blonde face scrunches up in annoyance.

"What?" Elle lays her head back down tiredly.

"Come on, Kid." Brody pulls the covers off of her body, leaving Elle shaking front the cool room. "I wanna show you something."

Elle sits up, her eyes squinting. "I've already seen your dick, so it can't be that."

Brody smirks, throwing her one of his sweatshirts. He accidentally hits her in the face. She groans and glares at him as he chuckles.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Elle rolls her eyes.

Elle slips her t-shirt off and slips the baggy sweatshirt on. It's fuzzy, soft inside makes the blonde wrap her arms around herself. She gets up, flashing Brody with her butt cheeks that hangs out of her neon yellow thong. Brody blushes pink as he steps aside. His eyes linger in her well rounded, bare butt cheeks.

"What time is it?" The blonde's voice is thick, tired.

"Um, 4 o'clock?" Brody shrugs, looking around the room when she looks over her shoulder at him.

The blonde sharply turns to him, her tired eyes wild. "Are you fucking kidding me? I'm going back to bed."

Brody grabs her wrist, pulling her back to the dresser. Elle arches a brow at him, her lips twisted into a frown. Something in Brody's blue eyes makes Elle wonder what he's thinking.

"I have to show you something." Brody tells her in a calm, softer tone. "So hurry up, or we'll miss it."

"Well it better be good." Elle grumbles tiredly.

Elle rolls her eyes, grabbing a pair of grey socks and black leggings.

Brody took Elle to a donut shop and they bought a dozen donuts. He then drove to the edge of the Cederville's forest, parking at a popular spot on a high peak on a hill. Elle sees that a few other people have already parked there, sitting on their vehicle hoods or sit on the tailgate of their trucks.

"Why did you wake me up for this?" Elle pouts her lips in confusion, her eyes slanted.

Brody smirks at her, shaking his head as he gets out of the car. He grabs the donuts before he shuts the door. Elle sits there with her lips pouted in confusion.

What the hell is he doing? Elle looks around at the people. Why is everyone out here so damn early?

Brody sits on the hood of the car, opening the box of a dozen donuts. Elle rolls her eye and steps out of the car, the chilly wind hitting her face. She crosses her arms over her chest as she crawls up on the hood of the car. She gives Brody a look.

He looks to her, smiling softly. "Donut?"

"I'll make you think donut." Elle grumbles grumpily, "Why did you bring me out here?"

"You'll see around 5 o'clock." The blue eyed man checks his watch. "Which is 20 minutes away."

"For what!" Elle rolls her eyes at him, her voice high with agitation.

Brody smirks ornery like, taking a bite of a donut. "You'll see."

The blonde grumbles with annoyance, rolling her brown eyes. She grabs a donut that is still warm and squishy. She looks at the clear glaze over the honey brown bread made of yeast. She takes a bite, tasting the sweetness and fresh fluffiness of the breaded yeast.

"Good?" Brody continues to smirk at her ornery like.

The blonde glares at him. "Are you always such a dick in the morning?"

"Maybe you're just grumpy." The blue eyed man drinks his coffee, offering it to Elle afterwards.

She shakes her head. "Maybe because I have no idea why you brought me out here."

Brody rolls his eyes. "Maybe you need to be more adventurous."

"Maybe you need to be less of a dickhead—" A light suddenly flashes in Elle's eyes, blinding her.

The blonde puts a hand over the bright light as her eyes adjust. Elle's slender fingers part to see where the light had come from. Through the crack of her fingers, she can see the blood orange sun begin to rise. The blonde's brown eyes widen at the magnificent sight.

Brody smirks at her awed expression and grabs another donut. He looks back at the beautiful sun that has begun to say its well awaited greeting to Cederville valley. The blue eyed man turns his NASA baseball cap backwards as he sits back and relaxes while eating his donut.

"Holy shit." Elle mutters softly in amazement.

"Yeah, I know." Brody looks to Elle, his blue eyes lazy. "It's a beautiful view, isn't it?"

"Why didn't I know about this?" Elle's lips form a huge grin, turning to Brody.

"Maybe because you're sleeping in your entire life." Brody shakes his head, looking back at the sunset. "This is my favorite place."

Elle grins. "I can see why."

The two look back at the blood orange sunset. A blush shade of pink has now appeared in the sky, along with violet, blood orange, and yellow. Elle grabs a donut and takes a bite. She licks the glaze that had fallen onto her plump lips.

"Why did you bring me here?" Elle arches a brow, a grin still on her tired face.

"I guess to remind you that some beginnings are more beautiful than others." They both lock eyes for a brief moment, "Don't forget that."

Elle furrows her brows, looking ahead at the sun. She sighs heavily.

"And let me guess, some endings are darker than others?" The blonde's grin fades quickly, knowing that both their metaphors are true.

"For most of us, yes." Brody shrugs, "But sometimes, they're even brighter than the beginning."
